The difference between Destiny's pvp and other popular pvp games is simple, SUPER POWERS. See in Destiny 1 most of us would get at least two supers a game causing unpredictable balance and game changing excitement. But 4 versus 4, a very slow super charge rate, elemental match game in pvp(weapons with the same burn as your super melting you) and some of the new super attacks taking more than one hit to slay an enemy(Sentinels and Arc Striders), Destiny 2 doesn't feel very super does it. You want your super to make a difference and excite, so you want to use it when you see multiple enemies. The problem is when you see them they most of the time see you, and now your wearing a big sign that says I GOT MY SUPER AND TIMES RUNNING OUT AND BESIDES FIGHTING WITH BLUEBERRIES OVER THE POWER AMMO I WOULD LIKE SOME EXCITEMENT BEFORE THE MATCHS END AND I GET MY FIXED ROLL WEAPON. So most of the time you're either executed firing squad style in the super animation, melted by the smart guy that specifically made an energy weapon to match your roaming super or there's 30 seconds left and everyone launches there supers at each other like hats at a high school graduation. I love a good fire fight but in Destiny 1 there was way more excitement because of SUPER POWERS, the chance to earn a SLAYER or REAPER badge, making game changing plays and just the rush alone of using super powers. I hope alot of you Guardians feel the same and something changes. Because the lack of feeling super doesn't have me intoxicated to play like D1 did. And with all the other end game issues they have this seems like a quick fix to increase the energy in the crucible. Cause right now the game I love doesn't feel super, it feels weaker.
