Dear Bungie. Going over the topics after I posted my solo strikes message - there are so many complaints. I know you worked very hard on this game. I know you put a lot into this game. And it shows. And I wanted to give you some appreciation. I am a nobody, starting a small channel about D1 so it won't mean mich, I guess. But I really do love Destiny 2 and Destiny 1. I work in retail and recommend both titles all of the time. You can't miss me - the person with the Destiny lanyard hanging from my belt. I started playing Destiny in September of 2016 - entirely by chance just two weeks before "Rise of Iron" dropped. And in one year played 2000 hours. Destiny is my favorite video game - I have never played any other game as much as Destiny. Wit Destiny 2 I actually bought the Collector's Edition. The big $250. And trust me I am FAR from rich. I never buy Collector's Editions. I wasn't even sure what it came but this was Destiny 2. I even bought the socks! You did an amazing job with Destiny 2. The hard work you put into it shows. I knew you put a lot of research into your games when I saw Battuta in D1 - a name most Westerners would never have heard of. The music is amazing. I have all the soundtracks on my ipod and listen to them all of the time. The game is gorgeous. My favorite world is Titan. I have spent hours exploring the Solarium and the area around it. I only wish I could get into those locked doors and jump to all of the ships. The first time I went there I was amazed - it just kept going and going and going. The added features are great. I love being able to have two scout rifles or two auto rifles equipped. The fast travel is great. And though I have finally gotten a Sparrow I still prefer running everywhere. The Tower is awesome - there is still so much I have not yet explored. The dialogues are great. You added more Ghost - who is my favorite character. And more Cayde-6 my second favorite. I actually like that our Guardian doesn't talk - it means not having "us" respond with something we wouldn't and I think it makes our bond with Ghost even stronger. I was so afraid you would kill off Ghost but you didn't - thank you! The story was good. Do I want more? 0f course!! Do I have tons more questions? Definitely. But what I am trying to say is - my desire for me isn't meant to be taken as a negative against D2 but positive. I loved it so much I want more - just like I can never have enough chocolate or my cat enough treats. :-) It was sad what happened to the Speaker. I visit him in D1. :-) I know people complain about the Shaders. I think your idea is pretty cool - allowing for me control and variety. Being able to change the color of each individual armor piece. I have already gotten tons of shaders without spending any real money. My opinion is biased though - shaders were never important to me in D1. I would use the same shader for weeks. A Hunter is out in the wild - the last think they would want is armor that stands out. So I tended to favor darker shaders and rarely change. Only concerned about them for my record book. As long as it isn't "pay to win" I don't care. And I get it and think it was a creative idea. I miss the ability to Level factions, etc. To see progress and advancing. I made it to Level 25 with Shaxx and that was not easy. But at the same time it isn't game breaking. I enjoy playing Destiny 2. And what you have added is amazing. My only real frustration is the forced matchmaking - which I already posted about. I love your game. I hope one day I will get to play with people from Bungie. I still want to finish all the D1 raids and get the raid exotics I am missing. So I am playing both. And loving both. You did a really great job and I shall continue to recommend it. I am looking foward to Destiny 3 :-D Thank you for giving me hundreds of hours of great gameplay. Thank you for all of the hard work you did and all of the effort you have put into the Destiny games.
