So im actually really enjoying everything about destiny 2. Crucible is balanced, trials is fun, raid isnt a run-it-once-and-get-all-the-easy-mode-drops raid (wotm anyone?) and the armor looks sick, weapons are fun and not im not getting shitty surrounded+guerilla fighter handcannons.
Timed nightfalls aren't better or worse then the old ones, they are just different. You need to accept that and move on.
New shader system leads to shader diversity and new colour combos. Being able to put a raid shader on origin story is awesome.
So stop complaining. Dont come into destiny 2 hoping for destiny 1- the games are different. Destiny 2 had been out for like 3 weeks goddamit- give it some time.
Bungie, keep it up.
EDIT: thanks for all the upvotes, i see i am not the only one out there.

Looking back on this is painful. I doubt you think the same now.

Изменено (TheShadow-cali): 10/19/2017 5:00:09 AMStop complainging that a company after 10 years can't get their act together? How many leveling systems does one game need before they get it right, 10, 20? How many times does a company need to change their entire game before the get it right? How many years is it going to take for this company to wake the hell up and realize with the worlds worst sandbox in gaming history that they can Not and will Not ever be able to "balance" a loot based system? In fact, when the hell are you pvp gamers going to realize unless they have set weapons like Halo that It will never happen? Get a clue and stop asking for something that will never happen, especially knowing this game was never built for it to be "balance" Above all, quit your sniveling about things like Mida. Learn to ask this company to create weapons etc that compete with one another. Then maybe this game can actually start getting somewhere. Because as of right now? This is the most watered down game I have ever played in 30 years. It's rediculous that this is a AAA gaming company and they are pushing out a half baked game every expansion, and now it's going to be every sequel because they can't learn how to stick with a plan and work from there.
And gamers like you will sit here and pertend this game is great when it's actually a mediocre knowing this company hasen't put really any effort into this game since y2. This game is lacking so much that it's not funny at all. Sure it has new planets, but they are plain as hell. Once again they made it after 3 year where there is barely any activities that are actually worth running other then the public event's that you can run 3 times within the time you run a strike and end up better off.... That's it? what else is there to do knowing the vendors are dry as hell, gear that drops way below your level that now even exotics are like getting a blue engrame from D1 Vanilla, Really? gear and weapons that are supposed to be an incentive are useless in this game but maybe a hand full that only really work for PvP? Where the hell is the incentive in this game on "wanting" to acquire the gear and weapons that 90% of them are being dismantled for shards that now I have over 500 with nothing to spend them on and I haven't even put that much time into this game. At least y1 had that incentive and 10 years later this company doesn't know their own game to know how to create that? Yeah this is salt. You know why? Because of the higher up that don't gaive a flying hoot about anything but themselves. I can guarantee without a doubt that if the devs that actually create this game had more freedom to use their talent, this game would be a lot better off. Whoever is in charge of this game or how many need to be fired and find someone that actually gives a flying hoot and move this game in a better direction. There is no excuse for this game to be in it's current state after 10 years in 2017.
Overall, Bungie turned this game into a kids game and added stupid things like a timer and called that a "challenge" instead of actually putting any real effort into making things like the nightfall an actually challenge. They are getting more lazy as time moves on. Sure I'll play here and there just to check things out. But I am never going to put the time I did in this game as I did in Y1. Edit: Here since you guys think Bungie "needs" to know this after 10 years even though... I shouldn't have to tell them something they should know Already by now. What I think would help but it's just my opinion... 1. Improve the rewards leveling up 2. Improve the rewards in the strikes 3. Improve the performance when it comes to exotics whether it's gear or weapons 4 Running nightfall the timer should be optional. This way if gamers that have a quest like Rat kings crew the timer is set, but if gamers want to take there time in the nightfall let them have their fun Bungie. 5. Make more events on the planets other then public events. It's boring as hell like D1 was. 6. When the next expansion comes out add an event like POE or something other then just a raid. Running activities is what keeps gamers interest and not having much to do leaves things boring as hell. 7. Hopefully when Dead Orbit and the rest of them show up, they will actually bring something with them other then patrol quest. The vendors are dry as hell right now and that needs a major improvement like D1 had for rep. Ghost, ships, sparrow etc. Edit: Well, Bungie messed this up. Who's bright idea was to shut the faction vendors down for an entire month knowing in D1 for 3 years they have Always been open??? 8. Please give us somethings to spend our shards on. I have 500 of them and nothing to use them on. 9. Bring back buying synths, the lack of ammo is annoying and the gunsmith should of been selling them. Hopefully he will get a major increase in his inventory like D1, having things like being able to buy the attachment to your sparrow changing the color oh the flame. Small things like this is what gamers look for and have an interest in. Like shaders. 10. They made all these lost sectors and after a short time they are pointless. Make use of them, other events etc. Don't pull this D1 crap that now the Farm is pointless and a waste of content. 11. Xur selling exotics shouldn't be 5 levels below your current level. That needs to be improved and hopefully later but soon they will add more items and ammo to him to purchase. Theses are just some of the things IMO that could improve things in this game right now. As I said, this company should already know this and should of had this addressed before the game was released.

I personally love D2 and am enjoying it a lot.

There are some bugs that need fixing for sure, but so far I love the direction they have taken destiny 2. You will never make a game that pleases everyone in every regard, and there are some missed opportunities for sure, but at the same time most of my complaints ate pretty minor. I have not thought, even once, "I would rather play destiny 1" or "destiny 1 was so much better". I'm actually loving the lore from the adventures, the foreshadowing, the world's to explore, lost sectors are fun to find and experience, I think all of the strikes are really good with fun mechanics and good stories. Loving the exotic weapon quest for drang and whatever follows. I like the new shader system a lot once I realized how often you get shaders just for playing. I could go on. It's a fun game. Game of the year? Not sure about that, but it is a fun game with plenty of fun things to do imo.
-
Yup. Love it. Actally will play the pvp now unlike the shotgun sliding hot mess of D1 too. The raid on normal needs a bit more forgiveness because 8-12 minutes of 100% perfect play out 6 people can get a bit tedious. However, having more fun this time. Also I love the multi piece shader system as well.

Some of you have the terrible habit of dismissing any negative feedback. Why?? We complain because we want this game to become better. This game is far from perfect and even the most diehard fanboy cannot deny it. So please, DON'T STOP COMPLAINING. DON'T STOP CRYING. DON'T STOP BITCHING. If you only point out what Bungie got right, they will never fix what they got wrong.
For example. Please let me god damn delete weapon quests permanently!! Bring back the quest tab! Hell bring back all the features we had at the end of D1!
If you think this game is a 100% perfect 10/10, well great. Go ahead and get mad. Complain about us complaining. But I promise you, you are a very, very small minority.

I enjoyed it for two weeks now the cracks are starting to show, once the new game shine has worn off. Already my clan mates are not logging in and going back to their old games. There is very little replay value.

Изменено (Nickality): 9/24/2017 11:25:58 PMI complain because I know the game can be better. And I loved d1, so I’m gonna keep complaining until it’s as good or better than d1.

We're gonna complain And we have every reason to
-
You lost me at "stop complaining." The game isn't perfect, it's actually very far from perfect, there are a lot of valid criticisms which people like you ignore and they did, in fact, ruin a lot of things that people liked from the first game, and people r gonna complain, they have the right to criticize something that they spent $60 on and you're just ignorant if you think otherwise

It's fun but it could be much more. D1 in it's final state is a better game than D2 vanilla as of now. Not enough grind this game is a huge bitch slap for hardcore veterans. It's been watered down for casuals way too much that now the grind is nonexistent. -

Изменено (aka.breadley): 9/24/2017 6:55:37 PMNo. We gave Destiny 1 time. And it improved greatly. Added awesome things to the mix. What did Destiny 2 do? TOOK ALL OF THAT TIME WE SPENT WAITING FOR D1 TO IMPROVE AND STRIPPED IT ALL AWAY AND PUT US BACK AT SQUARE ONE. Yeah. Caps, take that. I used caps. I never do that. But telling us to give it time is such an insult to the people like me who spent the last three years "giving it time." Edit: I do enjoy the game, however. I'm just not ignorant to the fact they stripped out features. So help me if heroic strikes and strike specific loot are in a DLC I'll flip out worse than the emote.

Изменено (Divine_Majin93): 9/24/2017 5:36:31 PMIf by enjoy, you mean the PvE? Then hell yes! Bungie killed it! Best damn PvE I've seen in a LONG time. But if you mean Chickenshit Simulator 2017? Then no. That player versus player mode has GOT. TO. GO. Hold hands, teamshotting me with defense all you want. It's abysmal and those defending it traded crutch superpowers for the ability to have to have a teammate win their 1v1 ones for them 😂 I can't believe I'm actually seeing the day in Destiny that I, an immortal being with superpowers, am more afraid of bullets than actual said superpowers. Tl;dr Ya'll drove PvP into the shitter lol

I’m basically the opposite of all the people complaining, I stopped playing D1 two years ago not long after TTK was released, I’m now playing D2 and I love it. There’s different things to do each week now with the additions of milestones instead of like how in D1 all the bounties were the same, just recycled. The people complaining don’t realize that they were saying the exact same thing at the start of D1, they need to give D2 time so more things can be released like expansions and new crucible modes.
-
Its meh. Cant find any cool people to play with :/
-
Weird that this post has by far the most up votes. That's even with all the whiners voting it down. Proof positive that most love the game.
-
I totally agree. It's funny to know that we get hated on the people who dislike it. If they knew it was going to be bad, then why did they get the game???
-
I do enjoy it, I just wish they didn’t take away: • Grimoire cards for background lore like Strikes, Raids, Crucible maps, Books of Sorrow, etc. • Being able to choose/replay missions and Strikes • Heroic Strikes • Strike loot • Different Crucible playlists And a bunch of other shit.
-
I liked becuse I enjoyed it, but now there is nothing to do... and last time I checked, I shouldn't have to wait, or pay for a game to become good..

Finally a positive post. Everybody complains about it not having as much to do as D1, but it's literally 3 weeks old. Seriously people. Wait for a few DLCS and updates before you whine about it not having enough content.
-
I like 2 but I don't have a lot of time into one so I can't draw much comparison that way. I think 2 is a good game, but I also think the detractors have valid complaints. Other than that I really can't complain about D2 too much.
