I had a question about the Ghosts. First I want to point out that I do realize that several points I bring up are probably just easy game mechanics, but I thought it would be fun to spice things up with some lore (I mean who doesn't like some lore).
So my question is this: do different Ghosts have different voices, or does every single ghost, including Cayde;s, Zevala;s, that random dead guardian we found on the moon in Destiny 1, have the voice of Nolan North.
I discussed this with a few of my friends and we really found it up to our own interpretation, but still I thought it best to postulate it to the rest of the Guardians, and so I will give you some points for each side of the discussion.
They are different.
- In several of the grimoires different ghosts seem to have different personalities.
- Ghosts appear to be unique and destined to one individual guardian. Therefore they are nearly as diverse as we are.
They are all Nolan bots. (I took this side)
- Every guardian is canonical, for fireteams, and we all have Ghosts voice by Nolan.
- (Speculative) All ghosts came from the traveler and therefore take on a form of it's likeness. Nolan North is the voice of the traveler.
I'm curious to hear what you fellow guardians think about this. I just started thinking about it and it raised quite a few questions for me.

For it to stay Canon, every player Guardian is actually a solo hero. Or Guardian from another dimension. We all appear in the same location for a quest everyone done as well.
- (Speculative) All ghosts came from the traveler and therefore take on a form of it's likeness. Nolan North is the voice of the traveler.
I did an adventure on Nessus today where my ghost referred to Asher Mir's ghost as "she" and "her." So if ghosts have different genders, I can't imagine they're all made in the likeness of the traveller. I'm sure their voices are different.
