What I wish they would add to Destiny 2 PC

This is a good idea

Now I know they would never add this to the game unless it was a free DLC lol. This is just me thinking about the possibilities with the new PC version of the game. I wish, that in Destiny 2 PC, they could utilize the PC system of downloading things, and let us make our own missions/raids that could be downloaded and installed into Destiny 2. Think of it like CS:GO and Portal's official map creation tool, Hammer Editor. If we were given a modified Havok engine/entirely new editor entirely, we could make some cool raids that we make ourselves, meaning the content would never be over, and new raids would appear every day. This could mean that if you are at max level and max light, completed every raid 3 times in a row, there would always be new content to add. Now, lets talk pros/cons Pros: + Lots of customization + Infinite possibilities + Never out of content to play Cons: - There would be tons of awful/offensive/inappropriate content This could be battled by having people report a map and then they would be reviewed by a trusted moderator. The awful stuff, well, there could be ratings systems that lets you rate levels based on quality, fun, difficulty, and length. Then you could sort based on those categories. - Hard to make maps This is something you really can't battle. Even with CS:GO and Portal, its hard to create maps (Except with Portal's built-in editor DLC) and this is a battle every mod maker/map maker faces. - Hard to implement lorewise Gameplay aside, this would be hard to work into the story. How did Guardians start making Fallen bases? Isn't that the opposite of what we are supposed to do? Of course, this could be used meta-wise. In CS:GO, the story is Terrorists are attacking and you must stop them, but there are more meta things in the game like Surf and BHop, or 1v1. This could be applied to D2 as well. The way I invision this is an idea similar to Steam Workshop. I've never used battle.net, so Blizzard may already have a similar feature in it already that I don't know of. You would upload your missions, select settings like number of players in fireteam (solo, Coop, 3, 6, or Competitive for crucible maps) When playing with someone on a custom raid, it would download the mission from the site first and then load people into the raid. This would take a while, sure, but it's worth it for infinite raids. This would not clog D2's servers as, instead of using a hybrid Dedicated server connection, it is only Peer2Peer. Now I know that Bungie, Activision and Blizzard would never add this to D2. This is just an idea I wish could become reality. Thanks for reading!
