Fusion grenades have always and continue to be fine. Easy to avoid, can be countered and they dont 100% stick. If they miss the AoE damage is minimal.
That Super fast charge is the actual class super. Its not like they can endlessly spam nades.
All match long.
Every class has gear or a perk the provides double nades. With the right build can match charge time, except during radiance.

About Fusion Grenade that are easy to avoid, I don't agree. I made a couple of tests with some friends and we noticed that the magnetism of such kind of Grenades it's pretty moderate also when the target is moving fast or jumping. Even with the Nnighstalker's Shadow Step you can be catched by one of thoose. Also, if the Grenade sticks directly to the middle of the head of the Target or to a foot, it's a guaranted kill. The damage when the grenade it's attached to the body it's always the same.
