I landed. I shot rocks. I was killed by (insert method here).

I found myself a lovely little planet that made me amazingly rich. Huge chunks of Gold and Emeril all over the place. I've mined that much that Sentinels have chased me across half the planets surface but with no dupe glitch i've maxed out my inventory, got myself a 40 slot ship and i'm sat on 48 million units. So far i've found 6 planets that have already been discovered but they left plenty of resources behind so I can't complain. I'm working my way along nicely to learning Gek. I've discovered 92 words so far and can understand most of what they say when I meet one of them. I'm not having much luck finding crashed ships. I'm bypassing those beacon things to find transmissions but they seem to send me to shelters and observatories.

Изменено (S1N1STER_S1X): 8/18/2016 6:33:02 PMMy first Nms experience. As the game loads up and sends me flying through the abyss, an overwhelming feeling of Helplessness washes over me. One of these stars will be my very own. Whether it be a beautiful sanctuary full of life or a blistering hell void of anything, it will be mine. The thought of that brings me joy but only for an instance. It's snatched away and replaced by another... loneliness. Then it happened. I have arrived. My poorly lit living room lights up As if a star was born in it. My eyes barely open for fear it might blind me. As they finally focus and try to make sense of what I'm seeing. The entire planet is a vibrant blue. Void of anything. No beautiful mountains or craters. No wildlife to speak of. Then I see the words pop up on my screen and I freeze dead in my tracks. Is this my first alien contact? Is this a monolith that a friend spoke of earlier today? My palms start to moisten as beads of sweat start to form on my brow. If I answer the question wrong I may be locked out from its treasure forever. As I begin to focus and wipe the sweat away. I read the text aloud in hopes of understanding it better. It reads.... "An error has occurred in the following application ce-34878-0 no man's sky" "Suggested actions" "Report problem"

Изменено (kylesanders): 8/17/2016 3:25:56 AMLiterally the first planet I spawn on has toxic rain so I'm slowly dying while I'm running around trying to figure out the game.

Anymore bumps, anyone? (:
-
Bump for lata I have a story, my first planet, the ship and I spawned underwater, but I wasn't in the water, I was stuck inside terrain underwater, I could shoot, run, jump, but losing O2 and eventually dying, had to reset...
-
Got stuck on some shit hole moon because I ran out of zinc. Had to hoof it for 30 minutes across canyons and shit to find a trading post. Could have just jumped back in my ship I guess but I wanted the new one. Was more fun to run.
-
My first black hole in the Hilbert dimension put me 40,000 light years from the center.
-
So many stories already, but they're all very personal and would probably sound kinda pointless written out. I'm on a good planet at the moment though - it's a barren rock, but it's a honeycomb of caves underneath and absolutely stuffed with vortex cubes. I've picked up nearly 5 million units in just a couple of play sessions, and think I'll stick around until I've maxed my gear and made my fortune. Then I'll just drift among the stars, fat and happy.

I have a story. I was on a hostile planet and I was killing Fugly Rex's and sentinels. When all of a sudden my character starts doing everything 30 seconds after I hit the button. The Fugly Rex's kill me the game crashes when trying to load my last save. And this is where the journey really begins. I then unplug my PS4 and Xbox one. I call 10 different game stops till I find one that has a Xbox One S and I trade everything for it and buy Elite Dangerous. The End
I have been having controller lag for awhile now but that was the final straw. Loved NMS
Was having fun. Now my game just keeps crashing.
-
I don't have a personal story, but I have been enjoying the lore and backstory of the game. I did find a system today that I'm reluctant to leave. Lots of pretty vistas and lots of resources.
-
Gave up on doing the whole atlas path/black holes thing, too many waypoints. Decided to gun it to the centre, occasionaly stopping off for resources and the games never been funner. After 4-5 warps iv got 1 planet were i NEED to find all my fuel, just hope its not hostile.

Bump, anyone? (:
