This is to all you young hunters that struggle to make the jump onto the ship after the ship you duck under or jump over. Young Hunters fail sometimes because they wait too long and try to jump strait up to the ship after the duck instead of getting forward momentum and jumping from further away.
This is why.
Also, for the sake of not spelling it out every time, I will refer to the ship you duck under as the "Duck Ship" and the ship you're trying to jump onto as the "Grief Ship".
The ship you're on in flying on a slight decline, when you are right next to the ship you have already descended to low to make the jump without the bones of eao as a crutch. About half way between the duck ship and the grief ship, you should stand as far back on the ship you're riding on as possible, get a short running start, and time your jumps. Don't use both of your triple jump charges right away, hit one, wait until you start descending slightly, then hit it again while still holding the sprint button to prevent loss of momentum.
TLDR; Don't bother reading unless you're a hunter who fails at the ship jumping maze. If that's you, stop being lazy and read it! lol

I find getting to the ledge for the chest is harder to explain to new players unless I go over there with them. I'm one raid there was a player trying to do the jump obstacle before daughters with Bladedancer's increased control jump. They hadn't unlocked triple yet. Talk about a challenge.

I just use bones of eao for that part

It is just a timing thing, a description that works for one person won't work for another.
-
That's pretty much how I do it so I can attest. I don't have the bones and I can do it just fine. And I generally suck at jumping. I get a bit of a running start as you say. The only other thing I do is have my agility all the way up and I'm carrying my mida for whatever good these do.

I do it the best on my hunter...

Any Hunter that has trouble should use the Bones of Eao. There're only a few Acolytes at the end, so there's no real danger.

Nope. Running at the ship and jumping will cause you to lose your upwards momentum. Crank your agility right up... triple jump ( or use the bones eao depending on your subclass ) and you'll easily make it, no need to run.. just a perfet timed jump straight up will get you there :-)
