Actually I think your point is invalid- video games require a hand eye coordination which is built over time and something we are not born with. It can actually be classified as a skill just like flying a helicopter (hand eye and foot), many actually fly computer (games) simulations for a living in the military. Carpentry and engineering well carpentry is a labor skill unlike any other and many times tell the know leg based engineer they are wrong, which do you think had actual schooling?

It is of course. Same as robotic surgery when the DR is 1000 miles away performing it- or a pilot flying a drone over 1000+ miles away or even over seas. Games which require code (also a skill) which can have many variables in which we must learn. Just like learning the recoil of a gun and reacting so it does not give us negative feed back. You'd be amazed at what "games" have done to our race over the years. Don't misinterpret games as just a child's toy my friend.
