Besides year one events is there any reason to keep the old raid legendaries and exotics or should I shard them? Is there any plan to make them relevant again?

Crucible Also some Gunsmith quests require you dismantle X weapons, with Legendaries counting a lot more than blues or greens. So maybe keep some for Gunsmith quest fodder. You never know... Bungie might change their mind in the future so maybe keep some of the most favorite gear around just in case.

I say dismantle anything that you don't use it crucible or that doesn't have any sentimental value

Crucible- but frankly I still dismantled all mine. If you keep the exotics you don't have to wait for Xur to sell the year two versions of the ones that carry over - you can just buy them with Marks at the Vanguard kiosks.

Keep you favorites just in case. There is plenty of vault space. Not everything but keep fatebringer and voc just in case.

You should keep the ones that are good in crucible because in crucible damage does not matter

Keep your fusion rifles, shotguns, handcannons to dismantle for the gunsmith class specific weapons. Other than that just clear the rest

The big ticket item where year 1's can retain utility is normal crucible (level advantages disabled). If you loved your Felwinter's or Found verdict for PvP it will still be nice for those matches.

Just get rid of them if you want but if you still have some free vault space keep them
