Xur is seriously tearing apart the community it is creating a divide between two sets of people The guys who waited And waited And waited For guns/armour to be sold by Xur And The people who won the lottery after playing a million times Put it this way The people that "Xurned" their Gjallarhorn (pronounced yallarhorn - confirmed by Carglemange or however you spell it) are the normal people of the world the work and wait until they have saved up monies to buy things (doing the heroic strikes every week and waiting for Xur to come each week). They are happy but still are looked down on by the rich (elitists who "earned" their Ghorn) The people that "earned" their Gjallarhorn are the few who have won the lottery it's a very low chance but it still happens They frown upon the people who have actually got their riches by more practical means (buying from Xur). So my solution apart from removing Xur completely is: Have him sell only year one exotics. OR Have parts of a gun scattered around and only Xur can assemble them. The second option is sort of being implemented in TTK so that everyone only can get it one way and it doesn't promote elitism over people who have bought it from Xur and it also brings the community together to try and find the gun.
