Allow us to use all exotic gear at one time
But only allow the exotic perk for one piece of armor of our choice at a time.
[b]Please read through before making your decision[/b]
This would allow two or more exotic armor pieces at one time by only allowing one exotic perk to be enabled at one time.

Blue borders are exotics with exotic perks disabled
[b]Celestial nighthawk[/b] (exotic perk disabled)
[b]Ahamkaras spine gauntlets[/b] (exotic perk disabled)
[b]Crest of alpha lupi[/b] (exotic perk disabled)
[b]Bones of eao[/b] (exotic perk enabled)
view the armor piece details with the preferred perk you want to use and click "x" to enable exotic perk for selected armor piece. Disables exotic perks for all other exotic armor pieces when enabled.
Using the bones of eao with the ahamkaras spine gauntlets would be highly satisfying.
You could keep the extra jump from the Bones of Eao while disabling the increased trip mine duration from the Ahamkaras Spine gauntlets and so on..

2 отв.It would be nice to equip two gear type and not the other. For example, if I equip two exotic weaopns, I can't equip an exotic armor piece and vice versa.

1 ответThis idea is stupid sorry. There is no point in using multiple exotics if you don't have the perks. Instead I think there should a super high level battle where you can equip exotics in every slot and make it a challenge

Freely change the look of your character without effecting the currently equipped stats. so now you can LOOK like multiple exotics at once, but in realtiy, only one is equipped. With your version, its not purely cosmetic. youre only taking out the perk but stats and other perks still stand so theres still some advantage. with transmogification, you keep only 1 exotic equipped but change the legendaries to look like exotics without effecting their stats. its a somewhat common mechanic in large rpgs. Now i brought up an idea with Exotic "Sets." Quite simply, you can equip multiple exotics at one time as long as they belong to the same set. They could have a tagline that must match. From there, for each piece equipped, you gain some perk--nothing too op. could be increased ammo carrying capacity. something used in many rpgs but destiny could be tweaked for balancing.

1 ответEeehm no. A restriction is a good thing. At least for the weapons... In case of armory its about the lightlevel. If we wear more exotics we would be maxed out even faster. They dont want that due to artificial longer playtime in combination with no content.

3 отв.Realistically, I think they could make it so you can have 2 exotics equipt. As in if you're not using an exotic weapon, you can wear 2 exotic armor pieces, and vise-versa. Or you can just keep it one of each. I think this would work, and wouldn't be game breaking. Thoughts?

1 ответI like your idea. I'm not sure why everyone is ignoring the fact that you mentioned being alotted only one exotic perk. I think it's a great idea. The only thing making exotics strong are their perks.

1 ответI feel like it was designed to have players wear all of the exotic pieces at once. (for example, the Warlock has a gauntlet and helm for Ahamkara. maybe the boots are coming too?)

4 отв.If they add this (which will never happen) there will be no point of raid gear, PoE gear and etheric light (would be used for weapons assuming this doesn't count to weapons).
