This is "The Union", by Marty O'Donnel and Michael Salvatori. Not "Excerpt From the Union". That is a rip of this that was used in the game.
This is from a project called "Music of the Spheres". MotS was intended to be released seperately from the Destiny soundtrack and Destiny launch; however, after Marty was fired from Bungie, the project seems to have been lost to the sands of time and been forgotten.
This is the only full movement that the public has access to. Enjoy. :)

Thank you for pointing this out! Usually I'm all over this stuff, but thanks! I was pretty dismayed when I saw that the Destiny OST was almost entirely "excerpts" from the game. I hate seeing that! I want the full thing!

seriously, masterpiece

That's good stuff. They picked it apart didn't they.
-
It's better than the in-game version
-
Nice. Although not my cup of tea, it's good that's it's actually out there. I'm more of an Italian crime drama soundtrack kinda guy.

someone should create one of those destiny videos Deej loves to pimp with this as the background. Very nice track... If everything you say is true, i would think Destiny/Bungie would be guilty of some form of infringements over this.
-
If they put half as much effort into story as they did this one song... WOW.
-
Too haloish and the guy gets booted huh :D

Can someone reply for later pls?

Parts of this really sound like songs from Pirates of the Carribean
