I concur. Any hopes of getting my fiancé to ever play Destiny with me are utterly destroyed by two things: 1: No split screen and 2) No cross platform. I have a PS4 and a PS3, but I am not buying another damn system just to be able to play together. They should have given the player the option of playing cross platform or on their generation server. The players can then decide whether it is more important to play with friends or to play on their specific generation to avoid any possible advantage. Bungie, you are segmenting your community in a game that focuses on multiplayer experiences; it's a bad decision.

  • The issue is people want higher FPS for the next gen consoles. The point of buying the next generation console is to get next generation games. Which means Bungie must deliver a higher end preforming version of Destiny that it cannot give to the old generations. If cross platforming was to be supported, both games would have to be identical preforance wise. Meaning graphics, FPS, and a whole bunch of other stuff would have to be basically nerfed for the next gen. Destiny already made a huge leap in supporting cross platform servers. Is that not enough?

  • EXACTLY!!! I am in the same boat. I cannot play with my bro because of no splitscreen and because I would have to go buy the same console for a second time which sucks. Hopefully Bungie changes it!!! I agree on your points for what Bungie could do too!! Thx for answering!!
