i really hated halo 4 and want bungie back
Looks like you are very much in the minority :( The level of hate bungie have dumped on the halo brand since leaving is amazing. Calling it a "disastrous flaming turd of failure", and you want these boys back ?? Ask yourself - why do they say this now, why didn't they do something about it then, or why not since (compensation - note of sorrow - in H3, ODST, Reach ?!?) ...

  • They called halo 2 that because even though it was a great game it could have been so much better if not for all the problems, they have never said that about the halo license.

Read into the other Vidocs released at the same time ... they took a lot of effort to be very dismissive about the whole series - a series they had kept quiet on for 10 years (ok, not quiet, actually boastful as to its brilliance). But agree, Halo 2 did seem to get a heavier dose of bungies bile than the other games. I would also have to disagree with your "because ... could have been so much better" defense. There is a huge difference between saying the game "could have been better" or was "mildly disappointing" ... and then calling it a "disastrous flaming turd of failure". These are pure hateful words. It is the kind of bitterness you may expect out of the mouths of an immature boyfriend towards a girl who has walked out knowing better. These are not the degree of words you say publicly just because it "could have been better". (imagine that on your school report card - lol ... "John is a disappointing flaming shit") And then there is the point that bungie did nothing to change this, to make amends - if they truly felt it was that bad. Why not; - pony up some free map packs (they release free community maps in reach, so they can do it) - include recognition via content within H3, ODST, Reach (a lot of chances, none taken) - link into your player history and award content based on H2 ownership But we have NONE of this ... just shallow, bitter word ... and only the bile comes forward when they have a new game to launch, one which will have to go into direct competition with the Halo brand ... coincidence??.

  • Guessing he had an opinion to express on the thread subject. The real question here (given your "Why did you bump this?" whine) is why did you feel the need to bump yet again and yet have NOTHING AT ALL to contribute to the thread nor the actual reply? Honestly ?!?

  • He could have made a new thread, or replied to a thread that's still active.

  • And so could have you ... or not bumped his bump. OR he could have searched, found an existing thread discussing his exact thought and contributed to the community discussion ... oh, hold on that's what he did - go figure. Just a little ironic that you would go to all that effort to berate someone for making a constructive comment in a community site ... and yet make no contribution yourself. Some might think you are just trying to troll.
