You wouldn't. You'd realize you're indecisive, but deciding implies you are given a choice.

You are given a choice, just as any other. You can choose to be decisive or indecisive, but would choosing to be indecisive be counter intuitive to being decisive?

Indecisive person here. If it was a choice, it wouldn't be much of a problem would it now? :-P Indecision, for me, results from a lack of a clearly superior alternative and a desire to, rather than choose based on whatever facts are apparent at the moment, examine the situation more closely and in greater detail to see if a clearly superior alternative exists. This is a process with no natural end (one can always seek to acquire ever more information), hence indecision.

How could you choose to be indecisive? Indecisiveness is a result of not being able to choose. It's involuntary. The ddecisions you either make or don't make that determine it are voluntary, but the resulting trait isn't.
