Got my Eververse Engram from hitting level 73 on the season pass Articact.
YAY!
It opened into a Shader.
YAY!
It is ugly.
BOO!
Its a shader I ALREADY HAD!
W T F Bungie?!?
Its bad enough that In-Game Destiny 2 'economy' is so expensive (If you can even call something that lacks trade an economy), but on top of that the Eververse Engrams drop DUPLICATES of things we already have???
Bungie.
Please stop ripping off your player base. At least pretend you respect us, and that we are something more to you than a 'cash crop' to be farmed.

EDIT (Addition):
Regardless of Bungie's 'policy' on the matter;
Eververse Engrams dropping duplicates for any reason is unethical and reprehensible!
Without duplicate protection on ALL contained items...
Eververse Engrams are LOOTBOXES
That's gambling folks.

PlayStation wants Bungie to develop Live Service games for Sony. PlayStation has devoted 50% of the company assets towards Bungie developing Live Service Technology for PlayStation Games. Absolutely terrifying. PlayStation sees Bungie’s success in the store as a “great test run” of this Live Service “technology.” PlayStation. The company that is popular and successful BECAUSE they spent the last 2 decades building great first party single player only games.....now they are literally out of touch with reality and doubling down on multiplayer Live Service Gaming. Something the majority of us Gamers hate at this point because it is so predatory and capitalist. Such an awful development stance for gaming. Live Service Games have actually hurt gaming. Just ask any Gamer. I think Bungie’s time with PlayStation is gonna be even worse than Microsoft. Which begs the question: “WTF is going on at Bungie?”
