They used to do 106 damage, now 86. Anyone know why?

I think they got nerfed in damage to accommodate having one of the faster base cooldowns among grenades.

2 RepliesBecause they want everyone to use the OP storm grenade that follows people around the map giving free kills

Because the sandbox team decided everyone needed to have a worse version of Arc Web, and so nerfed every Arc grenade, instead of just leaving it as a strong Warlock aspect.

Edited by Meaga: 9/11/2022 1:34:15 AMI’ve mained them since D1. They revived a buff from 96 damage to 106 that made them BROKEN. The should do 96 damage, the nerf to 86 is too much. If you know how to manipulate the animation and aim them, they are unavoidable. The cool down makes them good still, I still main them.

Thanks for the replies! I also noticed that even with Fastball on my gauntlets, arcbolts throw slower than they did pre-Arc 3.0. Bleh..

Because they have a pretty fast cooldown. The longest charge is a 1 shot. "Balance" issues

Bungie nerfed all the Arc grenades going into 3.0, presumably amid concerns that they would be too strong - a concern I shared
