Just because a 3 time worlds first player and many other content creators are crying about the game being easy for them doesn’t mean something needs to be changed to benefit them. Divinity helps take new and inexperienced players through encounters that they wouldn’t be able to do anyways.

1 ReplyThese no-life neckbeards act like completing a raid is some amazing accomplishment. Get a real job.

I’m going to quote a movie here “If your nothing without the suit, then you should not have it” if you can not perform endgame content without Divinity, then you should not have the divinity in the first place. It’s endgame content. You can not expect to go into it, and be able to do so easily and quickly. It requires investment, and thus has some of the best rewards. Divinity does not break the game, but does need some tuning. I would suggest that we just remove the Debuff. You can easily get it back with tether or other such things, but that requires more of a build then “just slap on Div” -
21 RepliesNerf divinity. Learn to aim.
-
17 RepliesI want it nerfed it's boring running the same loadout.
-
12 RepliesAll numb nuts has to do to give himself and his equally skilled fireteam more of a challenge is to Put themselves at a disadvantage and pick a challenging load out rather than dependable weapons. It’s surprisingly that simple. We beat blah blah with shotguns and nades etc. Nerf this and nerf that because otherwise I will keep using it isn’t an excuse. Especially after he’s used it to Death.

10 RepliesDon't worry if anything is being looked at it is Well. Outside of rhulk there isn't a single encounter that doesn't utilize Well. Well is pretty much mandatory for every single raid team and if not well than a healing rift. I have had teams of all titans and hunters and one person will always switch so we have Well. I got -blam!- out one time during warpriest not for div which apprently is this god tier level gun that without it all things are impossible, but cause I was running my arc warlock for some fun. So don't worry. Pretty much all endgame content has been designed around Well if anything and if anything is gonna get a pve change it is gonna be Well first.
-
The only people a nerf will really affect are the bottom 30% to 40% of players. Everyone else is able to adjust pretty easily as div is not mandatory to complete anything outside of day one. But you elitists gotta be elite... Only I can own this weapon/emblem/ship...
-
4 RepliesDiv isn't overpowered, it just makes the game more accessible for a lot of players. You still have to have someone give up DPS to run it—it's not free.
-
39 RepliesIts a crutch just like sun singer Warlock was in D1. I say nerf the crap out of it.
-
7 RepliesThe timing is definitely suspicious.. Worlds First competition a little too tight this year huh? 99.9% of the community don't even play like the ones advocating the nerf and a vast majority don't even own Divinity to begin with. To me this seems like a push to widen the skill gap for World First at the expense of everyone else, after they've had plenty of time to use it lol. You sacrifice damage from the Divi holder in place for a better crit spot and a vast majority of bosses just stand there lol. All I'm saying is, raid exotics SHOULD be best in slot, especially ones from buggy raids that can ruin a multi hour run (if you lfg lmao).
-
I say before bungie nerfs it because of some streamers thinking it's "too easy" they should just disable div on the next day 1 raid race. Then we can really see just how "good" some of these streamers are.

It's a weird flex to say endgame is easy when the game is literally your job. I'd be concerned if the game wasn't easy for these guys playing 60+ hours per week -
3 RepliesOf course they want it nerfed. They want more views for completing difficult activities lol “divinity makes the game too easy.” Well, don’t use it then. Give these *fu*kers a mode where they compete against each other instead. This way they can inflate their egos even more. Call it streamer difficulty.

6 RepliesSalt saying the game is easy is the equivalent of a professional baseball player saying little league is to easy like duh the games easy for you

Divinity helps take new and inexperienced players through encounters that they wouldn’t be able to do anyways.[/quote] Guy uses divinity in all 3 worlds first and wants it nerfed because it’s to easy. Go play dark souls if you want a hard game. And bungie on a different content. Why let us grind all these extra levels of you cap us in gms and trials.
-
15 RepliesRaiding is already a high bar for most teams. And when those elite only play amongst themselves, they have no idea what a typical raid group/lfg looks like. I can tell you first hand as a person who helps others and lfgs. Nerfing divinity or well of radiance will make lfg's toxic as hell. As well as reduce peoples interest in doing sherpa runs. I hope bungie doesn't listen to them.
-
4 RepliesIt's funny that its been around for 3+ years and all of a sudden it's in question. So it's a problem for worlds first raids? Ok, so disable it for them then. They can do it for mods, fragments, and exotics already... Problem solved.
-
12 RepliesThose streamers have the option to not run div like everyone else who owns it. Only 5% of the community owns Divinity (around 49% of those people use it- check light gg)🤔 sooooo....if they want a challenge in activities maybe they should run activities with white gear and white guns 🥴. Better yet, they can go outside and try having conversations with people face to face tf.

25 RepliesHere's a fix for the people who play this game as their job: Just don't use Divinity 🙊 Who could have guessed that'd be a solution?
-
6 RepliesEdited by Rinzler: 9/11/2022 4:07:47 PMWhat really irritates me is how genuinely arrogant this guy is, streamer guy is acting like his opinion is completely correct and everyone else who says otherwise is wrong.

10 RepliesI've said before, being saying it for a while, will say it again. Streamers have accelerated the decline of gaming.
-
11 RepliesNever understood the fascination with watching dudes with zero personality sit in front of a computer, and then giving them your own hard earned cash on top lol
-
2 RepliesGot a better idea offer it as a quest outside of the raid. Or just have zur offer it i mean its an older gun and it just seems if youre gonna lfg a raid you need to have divinity or get kicked

I get his point, but it reminds me of the Bullet Sponge Bosses discussion in Destiny 1. We've kinda looped back around, people complained that bosses were all the same: Slow moving sponges with a ranged attack and a stomp. Bungie started added other mechanics to boss fights (OG Oryx fight, bombs did damage not players) but mostly it just became segmented health bars and some shield drop mechanic. So the complaints came about time-gating and false difficulty (justified really) and now we've come around to this. The issue isn't really that Divinity is OP (which it is, a little), the issue is still boring, unimaginative bosses that move slow and encourage mid-long range damage. Anyone play the Borderlands series? Some of those bosses were fast, small and a -blam!- to hit. Making Oryx take player damage is a bit disappointing to me, other than Warpriest the whole raid is really easy and even he isn't hard once you have a strat for the Knights. I'm still hoping Crota's End makes it even if only as a Dungeon, but I'm starting to worry for Wrath of the Machine. In short I imagine its difficult to find a difficulty balance, so maybe all raids need a Normal and Hard mode to please everyone, maybe Legend Nightfalls, Dares and other similar level activities need matchmaking and maybe, just maybe Divinity needs a little nerf. But not because some guy that makes money out of making videos said so. How many people here went and added to his views after this fiasco? Question the motive, not the subject.
-
1 ReplyInstead of nerfing Div, maybe they could make changes to harder difficulties or challenges. For example, make using Well automatically fail a challenge. For Conquest Mode, make using Well automatically wipe you. (essentially disabling it for Day 1 raids)

8 RepliesThey not elites. Real elites thinks about consequences of their actions for everyone. Those streamers just pretend to be elite, in real they just awful egoists and "success" never come out outside their Destiny log screen.
