By no means am I a great player, but damn. Warlocks suck compared to titans and hunters. The melee is weak af. The nades are useless since someone can just jump out of them. Am I wrong?

Dawnblade offers amazing mobility. If you’re not that type of player then I’d say setting up turrets and freeze on stasis or arc souls on arc is your best bet.
-
Did fine as a warlock this past Iron Banner. Im no pvp god (not by a long shot) But I held my own well enough. They play vastly different to Titans and Hunters is all

4 RepliesTitans have a melee that basically spans 3x their reach.

Literally just you

I’m getting slapped silly by warlock melee. Yet I’m not using mine as effectively. My grenades are still great. Supers are good. It’s definitely a skill thing imo.

31 RepliesEdited by Meaga: 9/10/2022 8:11:20 PMI disagree very strongly. Dawnblade is still top 2-3 classes in the game. The only contenders are bubble and striker. Storm caller is very, very good. That melee is fun, the chaining is fun, it works well with an aggressive playstyle. Shade binder is still busted, before a word is said about the stasis nerfs just go use it. Void 3.0 may be the most annoying autopilot class to play against when it comes to warlock abilities. Child is very strong, that melee is sweet for flushing out campers and the charge grenades work well. Nova bomb is a great shutdown super when using vortex as well. With default class abilities warlocks also have the best utility abilities in the game, rifts. ^ This is from my personal game experience.

It’s you

6 RepliesYou're right they do. Only class with no ohk abilities. Arc and stasis are Terrible. Void and stasis are good, but don't even bother trying to build for ability or supers like you would on other classes. Use the exotics which boost neutral game and focus on your favourite weapons, with the right builds they can excel at that.

Warlocks have def fallen behind. Anyone ignoring that fact is really just making sure their proffered class stays on top.

The melee is good? Pop that bad boy over a barrier and it strikes down on them and you can fly up and shoot them, everyone has the same nades now, rift is goated -

Honestly warlocks in wells can be super annoying.. shadebinder even chaos reach can map some kills if given the opportunity.

its you

3 RepliesWarlocks are the best class in the game overall for everything lol.

4 RepliesWarlocks are fantastic at pvp. They probably don’t fit your play style if your having trouble 🤔
-
Most of the top PvP players prefer warlock

Ikora says it's you.

6 RepliesDon't worry titans are scrapen by a well pvp is for hunters always has been mainly cause anytime the other classes become a threat hunters cry for nerfs.

3 RepliesEdited by ben: 9/11/2022 5:52:19 AMIcarus dash + celestial fire + heat rises dawn is still top tier, voidwalker with devour and child of the old gods is insane, stormcaller was good but sadly it is off the menu and terrible now. Warlocks still have very easily arguably the best class ability (healing rift) and once again easily arguably the best PvP exotic (ophidians). Argue with me in the comments if you want but good luck. Personally I dont think warlocks are bad or I wouldnt play them. I think every class is pretty equal right now, wouldnt say anyone got a net loss from the subclass changes Edit: I will correct myself and say stormcaller is not exactly horrible as that broken melee is a saving grace, plus the super is pretty good with both ionic blink and landfall. As an ex-top storm main I far preferred the old stormcaller with transcendance and arc web, and I also miss pulsewave from chaos reach.

You won't get up votes for this because the vast majority in the forums are hunter kids that just can't have an unbiased view point

Every class has every grenade available. Grenades can always be avoided, it's up to the user to place them well and time them well for success. Stickies need aim, some nades get a lot of usage if you can tell where your enemy is headed next, or to lock down an area. Warlocks in general I find to be just as viable as the other classes, and a dedicated pvp build can really help.
