How do you NOT have a ticket system ... My PC is crashing hourly

So here is my issue Every single -blam!- time I play this game WITHOUT fail at LEAST once and hour my ENTIRE screen will go completely black and seconds later a message saying " No Signal " appears from the monitors firmware , at the same time the machines fan will blare and spin excessively. I will often still hear the game/windows or friends in discord still working and hearing me. The machine is still running and functional but the display seems to have given out... I have pressed Shift+Clt+WinKey+B to restart the display driver several times, turned my monitor on and off, reseat my display cable, tried 3 seperate display cables with different ports.. and nothing works I HAVE to restart the computer, i reboot, I play again for 30-45 mins and it happens again. it happens at any time. this is ABSOLUTELY infuriating especially when you read the next part So before anyone reads this and thinks there is something amiss in my machine let me dispel that quickly. This is a 2 year old machine running a i7 10th Gen 32 Gbs RAM at 2600MHz PCIe 500 SSD + 2 TB HDD ( Destiny is installed on the SSD along with steam ) 8GB 2080 Super 1 single 1440, 144Hz monitor In an effort to resolve this issue I have.. Reinstalled Windows 10 AND Windows 11. Reinstalled Destiny 2 Used Steams Files Scanner Ensured the game and ports were allowed via the firewall of Windows Checked my NAT type Updated Nvidia Drivers via Geforce Exp. Updated drivers via Gigabytes website ( seeing as the card i have is a Gigabyte 2080 Super ) Rolled back drivers tried 3 different older drivers versions. Ran the game as Administrator Tried every manner of display settings one can possibly think of, low settings, mid settings, ffull screen, borderless window, etc, etc. Turned off Shader caching in Nvidia Control panel. checked my CPU performance/ RAM/ SDD, Ran diagnostics Checked CPU heating and cooling ( a steady 55-60 degree Celcius at peak performance ) Checked GPU heating and cooling, checked out as well Checked power supply consumption.. I think im good running a 1000 watt PSU as mentioned before, tested 3 different cables, in different ports of the GPU. you -blam!- name it I have -blam!- tried it and I am tired of this issue and your lack of response and support. I work in IT and I can tell you honestly, this is the worst response or lack of I have ever gotten from anyone. Fix your game please. Its not me or my card or my windows or my computer ( as this has never happened before and DOES NOT happen with any other game ) If by some -blam!- miracle one you Destiny devs or support team even read this. Please for the love of God reach out and help me. Thanks.. I guess

No idea if this is also your issue, but wanted to chime in that I had the exact same situation as you a couple of weeks ago. Game would black screen, but discord and my music or youtube would keep running in the background, I could hear it and keep talking with my friends in the discord call. Nothing would get the screen to come back on short of a hard restart. Went through similar troubleshooting steps, even went so far as to reseat my GPU into my 2nd pcie slot. Nothing worked. Bafflingly, you know what did end up working? Turns out my 24-pin ATX cable running to my motherboard was very slightly dislodged. Motherboard was not getting enough power so the visual graphical processing would give out under high load but the computer would keep running in the background. I'm not really a super knowledgeable computer guy so apologies if any of that information was explained incorrectly. But I just wanted to share I had the same issue as you, and the problem was not software related or physically related to the gpu. It was my motherboard physically not being able to draw enough power when the computer was being pushed. Try checking power and connections to everything else in your setup?

    • Hi there! Please follow the steps outlined below to provide an accurate system report. Please do not follow these steps while Destiny 2 is running. 1. Restart your machine. 2. When you log in, please click on the Windows icon, then type dxdiag. If typed correctly, only one command should appear. Please click it. (If you need to enter the credentials of an administrator of the PC, please do so). 3. Allow the tool to run. A green bar should progress on the bottom portion of the window. If you receive any dialogue boxes as it progresses, please address them accordingly. 4. Once the tool is completed, please click on the "Save All Information" button. Save the resulting text file in an easy to find location, such as your Desktop. Then, close the tool. 5. Open the text file you just created and copy all of text to your clipboard by selecting all of it (Ctrl+A) and copying it (Ctrl +C OR rightclick and click Copy). Then, close the file. 6. Go to pastebin.com 7. In the text box below, paste all of the text in the box. 8. If you would like to make your system specs hidden, you can change the Paste Exposure to Unlisted. This will hide it from the Public section of the site but still allow people to view your Paste. Then, click the Create New Paste button. 9. Copy the resulting URL and reply back to this comment with the URL.
