Would it be possible to get something in the game to change the race, gender without eraced our character.
Bungie i know there is a lot on your mind and thats not really something drastique but me and à lot of gardien want to change our main character.
1- for fashion
2- because of the lore you make (humain is more Light base exo more dark and awoken is both)
3- because we gardien have aged and discover ourself so we might not want to play the character we made 8 years ago.

Noblesse_Oblige You make some valid points and I agree that eververse must be removed from this game but, Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

I think the easiest solution would be to change the character creation itself. If you have a D1 profile imported, you can select on character creation 2 options: 1.) Veteran Dialogues - You have mentioning of your D1 deeds in dialogues 2.) New Light Dialogues - You have no mentioning of your D1 deeds in dialogues As a new Light player you don't need that option.

4 RepliesAs much as I'd love this, Bungie has never even acknowledged this topic. They just ignore the people that want it until they go away. Why? Who know.
-
7 RepliesThis feature is actually already in the game! It's called creating your character and you do it every time you start a new character. Why did you make a character you dislike enough to want to change?
-
1 ReplyGiven how much Bungo likes recycling and easy wins, I’m surprised they haven’t already and started charging for it. I mean the system is already there obviously since you make your character in the beginning. After that it’s just completely pointless as it sees no future use. It’s seriously RIGHT THERE but they don’t give us a way to actually use it

3 RepliesEdited by TheShadow: 9/10/2022 3:17:14 PMI will most likely get downvoted for this but it's the truth. Not all, but if the community didn't push for more ornaments to be sold throw the shop, etc... push to have the transmog system we might have had the option by now and it should have been free. Bungie gets paid very well and the cost to design things is a hell of a lot less than the profit they make designing whatever, especially items from the shop. So this BS about the "devs needing to get paid" can easily be thrown out the window knowing they get paid either way. Now that that BS is out of the way. The most asinine request that I have seen being requested as usual is it to be sold by buying silver is what's wrong with this community. You guys that request BS like this is why this game doesn't have things that actually benefit the game, let alone improve it. Bungie makes more than enough money through both shops in D1/D2, the seasons, expansions, and their actual store but they refuse to actually improve the experience for the players playing the game without looking for some lame way to tie something to the shop or other ways to sell whatever. (The community caused this,) it is 100% on those of you who push for items to be sold through the shop that rather buy from the shop and other unnecessary things to be added to the game than to try to get Bungie to do their job. This OP simple request should have been added to the game years ago that It's beyond pathetic that Bungie refuses to do this, just like the postmaster being placed in the directory. Bungie had no problem shoving the shop in our fact placing it in the directory, but they have a problem improving the game by placing things in the directory that could be useful like the postmaster???

They don't need to waste their time doing this.

2 RepliesOr just allow me to access my characters' original appearance before they were changed for no good reason without my consent. Loved the way my characters looked. Now the helmet stays on.

9 RepliesVisit our eververse store, thank you very much.

1 ReplyI would love this. I do this so much in games like FFXIV, Warframe, and any game that allows extensive character customization. If this ever becomes a reality I would want 1. More hairstyles (especially long ones) 2. Beards (because there great) 3. Different body shapes aka fit/weight sliders (this one would be very difficult because of armor shaping) 4. More makeup options (for my beautiful warlock) 5. More hair colors and defined hair (like highlights and all that jazz) 6. Sliders (whether there for legs arms and all that. This would be hard as well for the same reason of the fit/weight slider)

1 ReplyI feel bad for all those folks who make joke characters in games. In Destiny it’s forever.

4 RepliesAnd please add beards!
-
Yes, my warlock needs a makeover
-
In this game, you truly Manifest Destiny. Until you kill that Guardian. Which would still be manifestation of destiny.
-
I mean in warframe we can customize all our warframe and operators when ever and to greater detail!
nibbles crayon
-
Yes please

6 RepliesEdited by BOSSNONO254: 9/9/2022 6:03:50 PMAs much as I support this and want this implemented In game, I doubt Bungie will ever add any changes to character customizations. They have mentioned something that has dealt with this once a long while ago. But since then, there has been no updates, and no further hints to the change. I also believe it’s too late for Destiny to have this implemented. As character creation settings/additions take time to implement in game and to function properly. They would need a whole team to work on this, and who knows how long they’ll take to actually do the damn thing. But nonetheless, they could have people outside of Bungie come in and add this for the player’s base’s own amusement and satisfaction. And I’m not just talking about your average, change eye color, change skin, add beard. I’m talking about a complete overhaul with specific settings to change every entire feature/detail on a characters face, such as forehead height, or chin size. Maybe Bungie will implement something like this in the near future. Or hopefully they’ll do it for their next game. All I know is that this has been long overdue, and it may not be such an essential part of the game to Bungie. But It’s an essential part of a player’s identity! Because they get to show and represent who they are in whatever form they’d like.
