First of all, these forums are full of some valid, some stupid, and some questionable statements. It feels so sad when Bungie doesn't listen to the great ideas like buffing chaos reach into coldheart the super, buffing solar warlock in some way, making a freelance or another cbmm mode for control, etc etc. These forums have so many good ideas and like all places some bad ones. But Bungie doesn't care to listen unless it violates there terms of service. In short they don't care and never will, we're all wasting our breaths here and on a game we're burnt out on because of it's many flaws that have been here for months to years.
Bungie won't care unless their loosing money, they won't care to put in more then the minimal effort in doing something. Something like buffing queenbreaker they don't care about, they'll only care for weapons that are used that's it. If it doesn't fill there wallet they won't do it. For example, they could have buffed blink back in void 3.0 yet they only did it when hunters got it. They don't have a reason to listen as long as they make money and they keep milking YOU. And that's sad a company is this much of a coward. They gotten harassed yes, the communities sent death threats, but my guy that's nothing new to the gaming community. And if you just shut everyone out because of a dozen people that's stupid. Not everybody is like that, and when you ghost all those people you lose valuable input. All they care now is if someone advocates for a new emote, new ornament, or just wants an old weapon back giving them easily recycled content.
Example!? Look at the planets, nessus and edz have had a public event bug for over 6 months now, vendors still give the same dialogue, for over 3 of the planets there hasn't been a new mission, nessus hasn't had much of anything in years, nor the dreaming city, and in some ways edz. If you guys want these idiots to listen use your wallet, stop paying them money for their seasons, stop paying for their dlcs, go play another game like descendant or borderlands. Bungie won't care to improve unless they see backlash, just like forsaken, the only time they produce something good is when their pushed in a corner, and only then.
These developers made the excuse of not wanting to listen to anybody just because some people gave them death threats, that's like looking at 40 people, asking them if they like you or not, and having 3 immediately say no, and you leaving because boohoo you can't take it. Bungie your a gaming company now, you can't do this, for your company to survive you have to listen to the people who are buying, playing, and investing in your game. And it's YOUR JOB TO SEE WHICH IS A BAD IDEA OR NOT, your game, we are only the customer, your the provider, we can't all have good ideas nor can we directly tamper with the game. That's your job to discern which is needed and which is not.
Another example of Bungies stupidity is class favoritism, your probably like, oh boi here we go. I want all you to recall all of light 3.0 for each class and tell me which one got the best stuff. It wasn't warlocks, it wasn't titans all the way, it was hunters. Hunters have the most damaging super in the game with star eaters, knock em down, and something else blade barrage, they have tether, invis, better ignitions, better everything. The only reason for titan in a raid team is bubble or t crash, and warlock it's just well or well that's it (bad pun XD). I mean come on, everytime titan or warlock have something that's powerful it ALWAYS gets nerfed earlier, harder, and without remorse. Example of shadebinder, that got nerfed 9 days after while behemoth and hunter went roaming for months. Stompees we're overpowered for YEARS, one eyed mask stayed for a little while. Hunters have several broken mechanics, we point them out, they get mad and say "double Icarus dash was so broken wahhh", bro you have had infinite spectral blades, 99% dmg reduction arc staff, wormhusk bullshit, stompees, shatterdive, blade barrage, ETC. These all have wandered for longer then they should have unlike warlocks or titans which always get nerfed fast and hard without any thought after. Just like chaos reach which is still eating dirt, and stormtrance without crown, which is so bad without transendence it's sad. There's more examples but I think the post is long enough.
Edit: downvote me to hell whatever, I don't care, you know some of this stuff is true whether you like it or not. Deal with it, own up to it, stop letting Bungie give you bad content and using you as mindless sheep. And salty hunter mains you can kiss my a*" because I DON'T CARE, ITS TRUE WHAT I STATED, GO SUCK A LEMON.

3 RepliesEdited by skreamsNsighs: 9/12/2022 4:20:34 AMThis may be basically "another hunter rant" but like... yall isn't that the point? If 90% of the community has an issue they're constantly needing to point out, and they're constantly being ignored or just plain bullied for it, then MAYBE there's a problem here. Bungie has everything they need, all the feedback. They can claim to have game devs that listen to community feedback all they want, but too many problems are never addressed and never will be. We're approaching the last year of d2. New light players are opening their wallets to try and get a leg up against more seasoned players, and everyone else already paid. We're at the point where marketing and colorful advertising plus the promise of pay-to-win are enough to make bungie another billion dollars while doing whatever they want with the feedback they get. It was a happy pipe dream at best. A honeymoon phase that promised lasting love then ended with finding bungie in bed with a cash--blam!- we didn't know we funded.

1 ReplyWhether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold

5 RepliesSix paragraphs saying “Bungie doesn’t care.” Noted.

6 RepliesYou know what they say. One bad apple. I get it they were trying to talk to the community if I was a dev and got numerous death threats for a Twitter post I too would get pissed and not tell anyone anything. He was just trying to do his job and everyone lambasted him for it.

6 RepliesYou have to understand that hunter dominance IS a place holder for good content. I would argue that Bungie has always leveraged one player’s experience over another’s to avoid putting the work in to fix the game; RNG, flip flopping between SBMM & CBMM, class balance, weapon metas etc. Players holding an blatant advantage over others is for many, very fun, especially if they don’t realize what’s happening. They “feel” like they’re better. This isn’t to say that there hasn’t been metas where other classes were the best, it’s that the meta will always land on hunters as the default. The reason is simple, more players use hunters by far than any other class, and that’s skewed by multi class players. The number of “actual” hunter mains is likely much higher. Just play PVP. This is precisely why I’m a hunter main and always will.

But overall it’s a place to vent ….don’t you feel better for getting that off your chest 🤷🏼♂️

6 RepliesSome times, some of us just need a place to vent - some just want to troll, and others just want to whine about something non-sensical because they had a bad match

3 RepliesWhat do you mean they don't listen? The Lightfall update is a perfect example of them listening.

4 RepliesSo, this post is complaining about class favoritism and old content being re sold? Cause this could have been summarized. Also make smaller paragraphs for ease of reading on phones.
nibbles crayon
1 ReplyBungie is a business that plans out their moves long term across multiple years and dlc’s. Isn’t it obvious that they have a set rotation for what is the meta as each season rolls out? They know what they want. if the game is somewhat stable (like it has been since late Shadowkeep and beyond light) they know their decisions are working. They know what is powerful and what isn’t, they also know what is worth the time and effort to update and make changes to. They know what seasons will be popular and which ones they take lightly (I felt last season wasn’t very intensive in new content compared to this). They can stagger releases and quality of release to create hype around the game. Basically I’m saying that Bungie knows what they are doing. In my opinion, ever since the new game director came around they have made very good decisions for the label in the long run. That doesn’t mean it’s perfect or always #1 at a specific moment. There will be slow moments, but they act on what is important and I think they are doing a very good job building to these final 2 yearly dlc’s.

1 ReplyDespite the myriad problems with this game I still enjoy it to a certain extent. I’ve relegated to the fact I will never truly enjoy pvp, as it’s pretty much the worst pvp offering of any shooter I’ve ever played, and I have zero faith they will ever make it enjoyable for the majority. I really like the dungeons and raiding, that’s the bread and butter of destiny for me. I vote with my wallet by spending the absolute least amount of money possible on the content. (Gmg or cdkeys)
