Step 1: ignore the sea of silly people who think they know how you play
Step 2: dont deny being bad if you are, its the first step to getting better at something
Step 3: play your way and try to laugh as much as possible (fake laughter will make you real laugh if you do it for long enough)
Step 4: explore, each game has an environment, familiarize yourself with it and the things within
Step 5: play with friends, everythings better with friends
Hope this helps
Have a good day

Step 3 just sounds pathetic

MAKE DESTINY HARD. I know the plebs on the forums will downvote but I think that destiny needs more hard story missions. That is what made D1 so fun for me. Everyone likes doing hard things, not easy things, because if it’s easy, then everyone has done it so it doesn’t fell like an accomplishment. When everyone has gally in your lobby it doesn’t feel as special. In D1, if you had outbreak prime, everyone knew you had done something hard and most of the time you were the only one with it in your lobby making it feel special. TLDR we need more hard rewarding missions that make us feel like we accomplished something.

1 ReplyAfter taking a break for 3 years and coming back recently, there's actually alot more to do in destiny than there used to be. Certainly there's alot that gets boring or stale, but it's nothing like it used to be. They definitely need to work on variation though because nobody wants to be stuck doing a billion matches running back and forth throwing orbs at stuff like in Expedition literally RIGHT after we just got done throwing 30 million orbs at a bonfire in the solstice event. Like, God, I wish someone had considered, hey, maybe it's not gonna be fun for them to be doing the exact same mechanic constantly and repetitively over and over and over and over again for literally years and years. Isn't it someone's job to think about stuff like this? Yet when Bungie previews content before it releases, the devs and directors are always smiling on video like "oh we think players will LOVE what we have in store for them!" Because they're salesmen. Then we get yet another snore fest mechanic that's been around since the conception of seasons and seasonal events.

10 RepliesEdited by TheShadow: 9/9/2022 1:34:29 PM
How to make destiny fun again
1, Get rid of the broken seasons and start investing in quality content. 2, Stop the rigged "RNG" and add more options to acquire exotics. 3, Use the artifact to improve the players experience, this control what they use isn't cutting it. 4, Stop focusing on looking for ways to add more and more padded playtime wasting a players time. Look for ways to create more replayable content. 5, Stop overusing boring recycled content and use the money the player base gives to create new content. 6, Put the postmaster in the directory. 7, Stop using the postmaster as storage and allow players to store all items in their vault. 8, Stop flooding the game with materials and the way overpricing items by learning how to utilize materials. 9, look for ways to add more matchmaking instead of wasting time and resources looking for ways around it like GG, and whatever to come. 10, Stop wasting resources on useless items like the shop and designing things like trasnmog. Invest the players money into fixing the game's issues and quality of life. This is just a tiny list of my opinion that would make the game fun again. The thing is, Bungie has the resources to actually improve the players experience playing destiny, the question stands, why are they trying to do the complete opposite, and why does it take years to make tiny improvements?

Edited by WorldFaII: 9/10/2022 8:24:17 AMThis has to be the most delusional post I’ve seen.. If you have to show them how to have fun in a VIDEO GAME I think you’re missing the point here.

1 ReplyImDoggyO0 You make some valid points and I agree that eververse must be removed from this game but, Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

It’s pretty fun currently

3 RepliesYou keep telling people to look at step 1 but what they are saying has nothing to do with you

Simply stop playing for 2-4 seasons. That simple.

1 ReplyEdited by Scratch: 9/9/2022 7:52:41 AMGood tips I would just like to suggest: *Step 3: If you find yourself starting to sound like the Joker, take a short break (I have done this technique before and it's scary if you push too hard, if this happens, stop immediately)

Amen!

This is unironically good advice. Appreciate it.

Excellent advice, honestly some people need to see this

Step 6. Avoid the forum. Time away from this place increases ya enjoyment of the game exponentially by the amount of time absent.

I'll ignore step 5, I have more fun alone

2 RepliesThey can’t. They don’t have the talent anymore. No creativity left. Even some of the game lead are not real game developers. Talent left a long time ago. Empty game is what I see. Full of old recycled content. Look at PvP, what a mess. PvE is even worse. Animal mess all over the place with this hamster wheeling. Talentless. Even Sony won’t touch this broken game. Haha!

4 RepliesNothing will make this game fun anymore as long as bungie has it.
