This new game mode only benefits high kill players and unlike you say the speed up of supers and what not does not occur as originally said. Why do high kill players need more supers, nades and such?? They don't. Just leave stuff alone and focus on getting new servers. The changes you come up with just plain suck -blam!-.

This weeks game mode for iron banner is dog -blam!-!!!
-
it doesnt even benefit high kill players, because you have to get a kill to not die. everyone just fortifies themselves behind shields in spawn and no one pushes so you have to run in there to try and get a kill. honestly this game mode is just absolute dogshit

Edited by SoncTheBlueRat: 9/11/2022 1:07:35 PMI'd honestly rather be working, it's the same level of fun but at least I get paid. And my boss won't come in and try to force ice cubes or batteries down my throat. It's gotten to the point where I'm just afking my weekly challenge, because it sure as hell seems like the rest of the team is on a 75-12 game

1 ReplyThe current mode is better than rift, but I need someone to explain how scoring works to me like I'm a toddler. I was playing a match earlier where the opposing team's score jumped 17 points in an instant to close the gap. Is this bad catch up mechanics or is there something they're doing that awards more points than simply getting kills?
-
I completely disagree. The Iron Banner in D2 has always been horrible ... it's true that adding that lockout mechanism in control made it a steaming pile of poo, but it was still a huge pile of poo beforehand.
-
3 RepliesWhat ?? This new gamemode is fun as he'll in IB and I don't get on long strikes that often anyways.
-
1 ReplyI play a lot of Iron banner, I like being forced to play different modes, even if they are trash.
-
17 RepliesEasiest solution to this problem. Loose sbmm in iron banner. High kd and elo players would be forced away from average players making it a more fair and even playing field.
-
This iron banner is rad

Those comments below from people who can't run objective 😁😁😁

Edited by Nattor8299: 9/9/2022 9:20:20 PMThis mode actually lowkey fun. My matches have been really close because of the catch up features implemented. No Uncalled for mercies to early etc. ability spam snowball effect is not fun but tbh it’s something different making you have to move around the map. It’s not a stalemate like control right now. Being able to actually play the game and not sit in a lane for more than a couple of seconds is awesome. Push through guardians enjoy the new mode while we can before it gets taken away!

So either CBMM isn’t as good as ppl claim. Or ppl prefer sbmm so much more that the iron banner player pop is so low that CBMM can’t do what it supposed to. Which also means CBMM isn’t as good as ppl claim.

3 RepliesLol yet all the streamers are praising it like its the best thing ever....such suckup corp shillls....watch once a majority forms then they will cry...kinda like stasis how it was just fine for over 18 months then they cried. All game is just trash...its like california where they decide based off the 0.00001% that are crying and ending up crashing the entire state

Played my 18 games… First off as a solo… I’m above average but not the best player… Your choices are stomped by stacks in normal or get lobby balanced so hard in solo … neither is fun… 6 stacks should always be matched against other 6 stacks where possible It almost seems the actively avoids doing this … I queue for 1 game see a stack drop out… queue again and get a different stack… why can’t they be matched ??? As for the game mode… it actually starts off ok then it’s just a mess… more gun play less ability / super spam … just frustrating at this point… Hate the fact the timer is so short and they get wall hacks … don’t understand the logic behind this …

2 RepliesI’m just sick of using a subclass for pinnacles that I don’t want too

1 ReplyEdited by roguesg1: 9/10/2022 2:12:04 AMIB is brutal this season for casuals. If your going for the weekly challenges, be prepared to be stomped. Too bad Bungle can't make a competitive event most could have fun with.

1 Replyenjoyed it way more than rift.. also as long people die after 5 kills, the opposite team profits.. a lot of times i got the kill streak in a bad spot and was outnumbered right after.. that way they get bonus points and i don't.. the catch up mechanics are pretty fair.. had tons of matches where we turned a 30-40 point lead just by shutting down streaks.. also the other way around.. lot of streak in the team, still lost..

1 ReplyHonestly rift once they got rid of all the bugs and people started playing it properly was way more fun than eruption is.
-
2 Repliesi'm playin a different game mode than everyone who says they're having fun in the chaos, all my matches are people crawling around with scouts and hiding behind walls with shotguns not actually engaging anyone but desperately trying to pick people off and get free assists, and THEN all run in with their free supers. this mode sucks and is literally zero fun and has the most exploitable rule set possible.
-
It's been really fun imo
-
I 100 percent agree. AND they just had to get rid of the pinnacle for dungeons for the week when iron banana is running. Like leave my pve pinnacle alone bungo.
-
D1 IB was amazing. Even if I had everything I wanted I played it like crazy. Now?….I skip it often, sometimes whole seasons without playing😔
-
This is d2 iron banner was never good
-
Now you’re hating just to hate
-
I’ve opted to skip it.
