Oh, wait, you can't... Don't come at me with the "scientists have learned this, that and the third from mosquitoes" or "there's animals that eat mosquitoes" bs either. Scientists have learned valuable things from these disease vectors, but if mosquitoes didn't exist, the -blam!- they carry wouldn't be spread in the first place, so L mosquitoes. No animal has mosquitoes as their primary diet, so again, L mosquitoes. What do these -blam!- actually contribute to the world?
Given the responses (save for the ones that are very clearly cheeky) no one can ever give me -blam!- for "not reading"... 🤦🏾♂️

2 RepliesMosquitos provide a source of food and help other flying bugs with pollination of flowers. Mosquitos don't have a specific predator but they are a source of food for several other animals such as frogs, tadpoles, fish, dragonflies, and hummingbirds. Out of 3,500 species of mosquito only 400 of these species can spread disease. Only female mosquitos drink a blood meal in order to have healthy nutrients and proteins necessary to lay eggs, male mosquitos drink plant-nectar and help to fertilize flowers much like a bee. (Male mosquitos are non-toxic Lol!) Mosquitos are an important pollinator of the blunt-leaf orchid. Other more useful plants they pollinate include Anise, Caraway, Carrots, Celery, Coriander, Cumin, Dill, and Parsnips. Mosquitos serve a purpose, without them the ecosystem would be affected but it wouldn't likely be a drastic change. If you were to destroy all mosquitos via pesticides, well that might drastically effect the ecosystem by also inadvertently killing off whatever eats mosquitos...

You're right. They're almost as useless as humans, except that they're not destroying the whole planet and haven't made any other species extinct.
