Xur deserves to see more of Sol. He should be able to visit the cosmodrome, the derelict leviathan, the enclave or helm, and any other free-to-patrol location.

Xur needs to admit he's really Cthulhu hit by a shrink ray, and drop the disguise... Maybe then he can sell weapons of eldritch design that actually do horribly cool cosmic things... -•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•- Selling crappy rolls on exotic gear you can get on patrol is [i]STOOPID[/i]. Xur should sell old Raid gear once in a while. Hard to get exotics once in a while. Out of print Shaders. You know, fun things. When Xur first came to destiny, he sold thing previously ONLY available through end game content. Which was awesome. For years now his offerings are ALL crap I either have, or used to have. The only thing I even look at Xur for now is better rolls on a piece of critical gear (since I main warlock, that is mostly just T-Steps or Ophidians - neither of which ever shows up at Xur with a better roll than I have).

The dude needs to update his stock too. He's been selling the same shite for years now. I think when he's not selling crap to us, he needs to go solo a bunch of lost sectors to try to update his catalogue 😂

I think his placement should be entirely random. Not just one specific spot per location. He should spawn in various corners and maybe even in some safe spots in Lost Sectors. And maybe he could be in featured Legendary Lost Sectors too, with special offers. Who knows.

I honestly don’t see any reason he needs to go anywhere but the Tower. It’s never understood the need to make us hunt for him. It’s not as bad now that there’s only three locations. And it not like it was ever hard to find him. It just all felt so pointless. It’s not like he is anywhere interesting. He’s not at the end of a lost sector or strike or any place we’d have to kill a bunch of stuff to get to. There’s no riddle or puzzle to solve to figure out where he is or access him. And it’s not like when I go to the EDZ or Nessus I think “well since I’m here…” and then go do something else in the overworld. If he spawned and left at certain intervals, like a high value target, people might have to hang around and do patrols or something until he spawns again. That would be mildly interesting. But as he is now, just have him only go to the Tower.

1 ReplyI think he is untapped potential for gameplay. Imagine if each week he had his own quest line to complete as well as a unique pve mission in order to gain access to his wares. And as reward at the end you get a free exotic or something.

He should function in Eternity. It's pretty stupid that he moves. Like it's some big secret. I type xur in my search bar and it tells me where he is. No point in moving him.

He should be banged up, not let out more. The deranged lunatic. He wibbles away a load of rubbish, has an octopus for a face and wants to spay my ghost. His only mate is a cosmic horse, that apparently only he can hear and he thinks he's a game show host .. yeah that's not weird at all. Plus he has been selling the same old tat for ages now at rip off prices. The highway robber. He's as mad as a mad thing in a box of mad things on National Mad day in the land of Mad. Even his coins are called strange. He should be locked in a glass cage with the Eververse woman you can hear in the tower, no matter how far away you are, so we can watch the two of them drive each other into madness with their pointless wibbles.

Ehy Guardian. I'd like to see Xur in more different places too, but there is to recognize that this had sense back in the days, not now. While it sounds cool to have him going around in more places it is also pretty useless. Right now it would be better to have him still in one single place, like the Tower or in the Area with the Horse [i](I can't recal the name)[/i]. -
He should have 1000 possible spawn locations, and it will be a weekly community event to find him Worlds First Xur

He should just stay in the treasure hold place with the horse, why's he running around just to sell us stuff -
Some ideas: - Cosmodrome: on that ridge going from the Steppes to the Mothyards, before the small canyon thing. That little raised area you can drive your sparrow through, on top of that. - Dreaming City: in the area leading to the Blond Well activity, just inside in front of the split staircase. - Moon: Bottom area near OG D1 spawn in Archer’s Line. - Europa: The hidden alcove thing in the seventies Ruins that we went into for a quest a while back (think it was for Splicer or something, idk had something to do with Mithraks. - Throne World: The area in Quagmire before you leave to go to Fluorescent Canal, where if you head left it’ll go towards the Apothecary. Head to the right above where enemies spawn next to the gate/wall thing.
