Waiting is absolutely stupid. What a garbage idea.
*edit for clarity; majority of players who have a life don't want to spend their only days off grinding this. There's ZERO ramifications to releasing them all at once.
-
I'd also love to see some kind of alternate drop with the pinnacles. Armor days 1 and 3, guns day 2 and 4. So far, I've gotten 2 Energy and 1 kinetic. :(

7 RepliesIt's odd to me that you think the current way requires "grinding during only days off" when you're asking to grind it all on the same day...
-
1 ReplyBy staggering the event, they ensure a more healthy pool throughout the week. If they releaseed them all on tuesday you wouldhave massive engagement early in the week and potentially have nobody left to run on the weekends.

2 RepliesEdited by Fizzman117: 9/8/2022 2:08:46 PMI think the issue is that people only have a certain amount of time they can play at any given point in the week. If they can set aside 3-4 hours towards the weekend, then it's not an issue. If they can only set aside 3-4 hours earlier in the week, then it becomes an issue. Although you could just run the first challenge on all three characters to somewhat alleviate that issue. I think the real problem is the pinnacles being tied to them. Bungie knows that their fanbase wants to get to max light ASAP and anything that artificially slows down that progression will always upset the fan base. Especially when the fanbase of D2 is more hardcore than most games. I don't like that the challenges force you to play a spec you don't normally use in PVP. It puts you at a disadvantage and hurts your team in the process. I understand why they did it, but you spend all this time mastering a build in PVP that isn't Stasis or Arc and you feel punished when you have to swap to a spec that you have little to no PVP experience with.

7 RepliesIs it me or IB rep seem too low ? Currently at 6.6x rep and a match give only 170
-
Remember when we could smash out IB whenever we wanted and for as long as we wanted and we were always getting the maximum amount of rep (tokens)? Good times, I sure wish Bungie would get their heads out of the sand and start respecting our time again.
-
This would be great. It would allow each person to play the way they want to. Instead of being drip fed content.
-
1 ReplyJust do them all Friday when all 4 are out. Problem solved
-
Play 3 characters day 1 3 challenges are done straight away after playing 3 games on each
-
Yep. No one wants to play in ib whole week.
-
With so much deliberate grind and stretching out 'content', most players try to play optimally. Forcing us to wait until Friday until we get most rank bonuses and so play most optimally is self-defeating.
-
That would be cool. I wouldn't mind having the whole 17 matches be available to finish. I think it's a total of 17 matches..... im not sure but it's better than waiting each day.
-
1 ReplyYou get 7 days… it’s only been two. Stop crying about it
-
8 Repliesthe amount of matches to play is the exact same doing them all at once or daily. so what difference would that make to release them all day one?
-
4 RepliesAt least it's actually fun this time around.

4 RepliesBit confused by (easily done) the daily bounty thing… if I leave off playing iron banner until the weekend when I have more time, does this mean I’ll miss out on some quest steps and can’t complete? I didn’t bother with rift so new to it all
-
Makes me not even bother with IB tbh

2 RepliesEdited by Talia Sendua: 9/7/2022 10:56:48 AMOR HOW ABOUT THIS: * Remove daily challenges * Return to reputation grind * Each sub-rank up gives a Powerful reward * Each full rank up gives a Pinnacle reward * After 1 reset you get no longer better power rewards Iron Banner comes like twice a season. If it comes twice a season, it should grant A LOT more usefull stuff for the player. 90% of the crucible is not power relevant. Last time I checked the forums there weren't players complaining that "waaaaaaaaah, that player got his power level higher than me faster than me". I also didn't see ingame AI complain in the forums that players "blow through" them. Less excuses, more changes that actually benefit the player to increase fun, Bungie.
-
34 RepliesYou sound entitled. I want it all released now. I don’t want to log on every day. Ok, wait until Friday and do it all at once. No, I want it all released NOW! Chill, it’s a game. If it’s to much, don’t do it.
-
Completely pointless change they did. Not an issue for me but it is a waste of time.
-
2 RepliesI got Iron Lord last season. Don’t care to gild it this season. Enjoying Kings Fall and spoils farming

1 ReplyEdited by hate n payne: 9/7/2022 2:38:27 PMBungie at it again on controlling how players play versus focusing on issues within the core systems of the game that needs to be fixed.

13 RepliesThis mode is trash, it’s just pub stomping. Back to control it is.
-
2 RepliesThere's no loot to grind for. They couldnt even add 1 new weapon again this season or new armor.
-
11 RepliesIt’s designed this way to encourage people to play more than they would if they could just blast through it all at once. If people are jumping on to play a few IB matches each day then there’s a chance they’ll play for longer / play other activities as well each day.
