That's Question/Answer posts for those born under a rock that wasn't quite heavy enough to crush them. There are dozens to choose from!
There's the one about movies, the other one about movies, and the third one about specific kinds of movies!
There are the blog posts disguised as Q/A posts where the OP really just wants to talk about themselves!
There are ones that obviously break the Code of Conduct but don't result in a ban because the ninjas rarely visit Offtopic and the posts do not attain enough reports due to the community of scum down here agreeing with whatever vile thing the OP is rambling about!
There's the polls with multiple options to choose from including one at the bottom giving you free reign to fill in the blank thereby making the rest of the options moot!
There's the historical posts made by the same vile scum who agree with the tinfoil hatters ramblings and really only care about specific points in history where tyrants oppressed the masses and slaughtered those they deem undesirable because they wish they could do the same!
There's the classic weekly food posts! Sometimes they even grace us with multiple food posts daily, or even hourly!
There's the posts made by bots sent to harvest data to sell to advertisers and marketing suits who only break their trend of copy/pasted affirming messages to assure you "I'm not a bot lol."
There's the parodies and spite posts done because someone either said something silly or dared mock OP for being so basic as to make a Q/A post!
Then there's posts like this which is a rant not a parody or joke I legitimately despise you may you become afflicted with not feel so good!
How often do you think about death?

Daily, especially at 22.30 - 23.30 at night if I'm not at work. It's like a routine existential inspection.

1 Replyoh heres one how bout when someone makes a poll asking what your favorite x is and the options are the most basic -blam!- known to man

1 ReplyI like the thinly veiled blog ones. There's more variety to them. You can either get something where you can make fun of the OP (I'm about to make one of those now, how meta), something that almost had discussion value or rarely, something that's actually interesting. Any of the other ones are down right boring 9 / 10 'cause some of you really don't know how to expand your horizons and only like the same -blam!-, especially with music and all the wrong gen kids...

Darn it, ye have give me a sniffle, I keep sneezing, I shall embrace the suffering. I like to read story posts. Death is inevitable...

My favorites are the ones with 3 poll options with the middle being most popular.

I accept death. No way to avoid it.

My favorite Q/A post is this one. Otherwise the parodies are the best. Really any post with self awareness regarding internet weirdness. Satire is a great art and we must make Mark Twain proud.
for those born under a rock that wasn't quite heavy enough to crush them.
This is brilliant. I like this. -
4 RepliesI like the ones where the op actually engages in conversation with tge people answering their questions. Which is of course barely any of them.
How often do you think about death?
Oh why I was thinking about death just the other day, and it spurred me to stay up until 1am writing my book!

7 RepliesFairly often. Doesn't trouble me. We have our time, then we're gone. On a side note, pretty salty waters today aye Cap'n?
