It feels like we haven't had a good exotic story quest, the last one being in witchqueen, in a while. We had Aegers in Lost and We Had Some Good Ones In Arrivals as well. What happened to the fun of searching for secrets that would lead you to an exotic treasure. Not Something as long as ages but as secret as divinity or outbreak. Finding the data pad and finding the things to fill it out was awesome. What happened to eververse will pay for secret missions?

3 RepliesI think we just need more hard exotic quests. Yes zero hour was hard but the gun was worth it and if someone had it you knew they had done something hard. Buying it from the kiosk is a different feel than doing the quest over and over. It felt more rewarding and it was more fun

4 RepliesThey're just started using rng drops for dungeons/raids instead of quests tied to the dungeon/raid. Makes me sad, often I don't have time to farm every raid until I get the drop :/

They disappeared when we went from 3 exotic weapons per season to 2 exotics.

6 RepliesThis is the same community that complained about exotic quests being too long

6 RepliesAh call me a stickler but remember when they said eververse would pay for missions like whisper and outbreak had ah gd times
-
If they add another one, let it PLEASE not be for a hand cannon.

5 RepliesKnock knock, season pass here. It’s all pay to play, nothing innovative or imaginative from Bungie. Thanks for the money, here is some reskined, halfassed content and weapons.. Rinse and repeat.

The quest don’t cater to the hobbyist audience that believe it should take you months to get the exotics you want.

Think one is on the way later on...

2 RepliesGetting Black Spindle was one of the most memorable D1 moments for me. With a couple thousand(ish) hours in the that game, that was really a pinnacle moment for me. Whisper was another one for D2. (Although I do absolutely hate timers…) We need more of this, for real!

3 RepliesEdited by Docventure: 9/6/2022 2:23:52 PMPlease god no. Aegers is maybe my favorite PVE exotic but that quest line was garbage. 50-something parts of going to do an event, going back to talk to an NPC, going back to doing that same event - then going back to talking to that same NPC! Over...and over....and oooovvvveeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

4 RepliesWas thorn or lumina a quest that you went to a camp on the edz?

4 RepliesBelieve it or not there were people in here complaining about those quest, things like “the hawkmoon quest is great but i hope we don’t have these missions all the time!” Perhaps these morons were just in hurry to get back to their 179,349th gambit match?

Exactly what Im thinking. Whisper and outbreak were pretty hard and somewhat annoying for me, but very rewarding once me and my friend got it done. Though I cant find crap so I had search up: “how to get ___”. It would be nothing but excitement from there though. -
4 Replies
What happened to the fun of searching for secrets that would lead you to an exotic treasure.
"Making games is hard" Also, Everworse. As well, Bungo is lazy these day and only put in minimum effort to get your hard earned dollar, peso, ruble, whatever.

6 RepliesParasite was fun but I do want another zero hour pls

25 RepliesI'm tired of exotics for the season being tied to rng raids or dungeons. In the past we would get 2-3 exotics per season. The season pass exotic, and 1-2 quest exotics. Lately we've been getting the season pass plus one which is tied to raid or dungeon.

There are only two "hidden" quests left in the game. Divinity - Account wide Xenophage - Per character

Edited by max: 9/6/2022 6:24:26 AM
What happened to the fun of searching for secrets that would lead you to an exotic treasure
In dcv with their remaining either smashed into broken pieces here and there with zero background story or better, stuffed into some monument with entire quest striped and reward turned into a pure material grind. I do believe they are coming back tho, soon as they figure out ways to sell those back piece by piece

4 RepliesRecently, like last season, we had one for a specific exotic sparrow.
