Gold up Gaurdians - childhood cancer awareness month

Saw a heartbreaking story about today about a father that plays D2 who lost their son to pediatric cancer back in 2020. Per policy I cannot list the name but if you google it you you most likely find it on reddit. As a father of 2 myself this hits home. Prior to his passing he asked that gaurdians of all classes wear gold for CCAM for the month of September. This month to show support and solidarity I will be doing the same. This train is already in motion and currently there are thousands doing it already. I did not see any other posts about this, I may have missed them so this may be redundant to some. If you would like to show support as well, dress in your best gold attire for this month. Let's shine a "little light" into a world that is in a lot of pain.. See you out there.

  • Sometimes communities do things to raise awareness because the community has less power than the powers that be. That way, the powers that be take note and say “hey, all of our players are wearing gold, these posts have been upvoted, shared, liked a whole bunch. This must be a cause our community supports.” And they begin to support it in a bigger, more meaningful way. But some of you are clearly without a community. And I am sorry for you. Gold up, Guardians.
