Depends on the stack. I guarantee you there are several six stacks in existence right now that are so absolutely stacked they can't be properly challenged with solos, any solos.
There is a six stack in the game that had a 100+ win streak in CBMM, and I bet you it didn't change since they're still matching solos.
Your over-genralized claims aside, that's the real issue. SBMM had no business launching until the preferential matchmaking or team skilll criteria bungie mentioned was ready as well.

Edited by DiZ: 9/4/2022 3:50:51 AMLemme tell ya lil' story, summin' that happened to me recently:
*flashback* There I was, solo queued into Control, trying out the new things Arc 3.0 brought to Warlock, and leveling up some newly crafted weapons. *loads in* Ah, a 6-stack from another platform and continent, playing in the QP Grand Finals, half of which were basically boosted smurf accounts (i.e. 8.0+ lifetime K/D, but barely a few hundred matches played, things like that). Oh, what's this? Nearly my entire team of randoms has left in the first minute? Okay, at least I see other people coming in to hopefully refill the missing spots soon. But wait, each of them left the second their boots were on the ground? Well... this is gonna be a long match... *game ends* Alright, that was pretty awful, but this next match should be better, right? Wait, hold on...

I've matched them again?!
Yeah, a lot of the big timers on DT that do nothing but stack kept right on going and have lost very few. Some of their k/ds have come down but some of them really haven't too much. Basically the same thing that happened last time the game was SBMM. If someone has a good team with high stats already they're still going to be doing well for the most part. A lot of bad experiences actually take place among pretty average daily players.
