the breakneck was a good example of how to spec an AR. wish they would bring back it's perks as random rolls on ar's. that could help them be less worthless.

  • I'm glad that they've been returning some of the old Pinnacle weapon perks like Reservoir Burst, Killing Tally and Explosive Light. The ones like Magnificent Howl and Reversal or Fortune should never see the light of day again. I think the reason why Onslaught and Meganeura haven't returned is because they both functioned off other perks, namely Rampage and Dragonfly. If they were to be combined into one perk, they might be too strong on their own. It's a mystery as to why the thoroughly inoffensive Archer's Gambit hasn't returned, though. #JusticeForHush

  • they could easily be rolled into one perk without being too powerful. For Onslaught, remove the "Rampage stack" part from the description. Instead, have it read "The weapon's rate of fire increases as you gain kills. Kills grant a small stacking damage bonus". By 'small' I mean very incremental, like |5%|10%|15%| for x1/x2/x3 stacks. Maybe normal Rampage would be okay given magazine limitations, but just to be safe, and also because Rampage was entirely disabled from working on Breakneck, I'm guessing Bungo though it was too powerful. Meganeura really shouldn't be a problem to return, though. I actually wouldn't mind if the perk was reworked a little, because as it is/was, it's a little underwhelming. If it were to return unchanged, have the perk read "Precision kills create an elemental explosion. Land precision hits beforehand to scale increased damage of this efect". If reworked, I would have it read "Landing precision hits will cause your next kill with the weapon to create an elemental explosion. The damage of this effect scales with the number of stacks of Meganeura".
