My graphics drivers are 516.64
-
Let me know if that helps
-
Also are you on windows 11 or still windows 10
-
You’re going want to rollback to driver 512.77 back on 5/12/22 and that should fix you up
-
To roll back do I need to go to their website to download it I assume? and still windows 10 don't think its time to upgrade yet lol
-
That’s current you’ll see a chart after putting your card information in and you’ll see it
-
Random question what's the difference between studio and game ready?
-
Let me know if the info helped with your issue
-
Make sure you do gaming last if you’re using it for gaming
-
Just so you know you can do both studio and game but make sure and do game last
-
Studio is more for rendering videos if I’m not mistaken and game version is for gaming hope that helps
-
Well it just crashed after one strike and being in matchmaking for a second. During that the stream I had on google chrome froze then it froze again on Edge.
-
Also the other person is running windows 11
-
Have you tried using just one monitor just to see what it will do just checking I run 3 monitors with a ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 3090 but you’re the 2nd person having issues the same way and you both are running RTX 3080ti
-
I could try unplugging my other 2 monitors I also run 3 with a ROG STRIX haha someone else said it's just an issue with 3080 ti's.... I can try just destiny on one monitor if that is the solution I won't be happy....
-
I guess that eliminates the graphics driver version.... I for sure wasn't having this issue back then this started the day before the current season started I did a clean install of graphics drivers and that got me through the day one then literally right after the day one raid it happened again.
-
I know this sounds crazy are you on 1080p or 2k or 4k
-
If you will keep that driver 512.77 on it for now but also in case you didn’t know they started having major issues about 2 months ago something about destiny and Nvidia driver I have to do a lot more checking
-
I play everything in 4k and you don't have to look all that up I would feel bad.... it's just crazy how niche the issue is
-
try this and just see what it does run one monitor on 1080p settings on destiny settings and see if it crashes with the 512.77 driver version
-
I'll give it a whirl and let you know!
-
Just throwing this out there I get 250 to 300 fps in crucible and when going to the tower it drops to 60 fps and it crazy why bungie hasn’t fixed this yet
-
Thats kinda nuts... I realize I replied to myself should I close everything for this?? or have chrome in the background and discord those are the 2 other things I have open
-
I would close everything and just see what it does then you can start opening each one at a time and see where it goes from there but first see what it does with everything close first also don’t even go through Nvidia just open destiny
-
You wont believe it.... I found a solution I changed in GeForce to windowed ran some things it didn't crash so I decided to switch to fullscreen in the in game settings cause why not..... it hasn't crashed I figured maybe dumb luck so restarted the game still in full screen but in game full screen... no crash I don't want to speak too soon but this seems to have fixed it! Wanted to share with you as you helped me the most maybe you have found others that need this wisdom but so far its working!
