Do you even know how ELO works? Your comment is so ignorant that it hurts. Good players gain NOTHING from farming bad players, I hope you realize that. If you're farming ELO, you're consistently beating better players than you, meaning you're a good player. Educate yourself before spouting such stupidity, please.

Edited by MNicolas: 9/3/2022 10:17:25 PMCan't you realize that the system now looks at yours stats/ELO (inflated by farming lower skilled players) and makes you face actually good player (or other ones with inflated stats/ELO)? and doing this is generating these games that you hate so much? now tell me if it "good players" don't win nothing by farming bad players, why are they using "newlights" as hosts or even creating new accounts just to avoid facing other "good players"???
Can't you realize that the system now looks at yours stats/ELO (inflated by farming lower skilled players)
Wrong. ELO is a third-party stat which Bungie explicitly admitted they do not use in determining what they see as "skill". From Bungie themselves from their 7/28/22 TWAB: "You can also check third party sites who track Elo (a ranking system originally designed for Chess with broad impact) Elo isn't something we track, use, or validate, so it's a "use at your own risk" data point." They define "skill" as this: "Internally, skill is a combination of stats made up of your performance (kills, deaths, captures, round wins, revives, dunks, etc.) that ranks you against all the other players in a match. Each player's skill is compared against the skill of the other players in a match, and we make skill adjustments for all players at the end of a match where the two rankings differ. There is also a confidence rating—the more games the system has seen you in recently, the more confident the skill adjustment is. In addition to the stats mentioned above, skill encompasses all sorts of things: your reaction times/agility, how you approach fights, how well you know the map/mode, how well you know your character, how you build your character, the weapons, armor, and mods you use, and how you blend all of those into performance with other players." It has absolutely nothing to do with ELO and K/D is only one part of it. You casual robots love to spread your lies that everyone is a "stat-farmer" but you're simply ignorant liars.
