With bungie basically exactly saying that Titans will go fast and hit stuff hard, why is it that thunderclap is stationary?
Thunderclap does plenty of damage for the range it’s given, so no complaints there. My confusion solely comes from how the whole arc subclass rework was about going fast and hitting stuff hard, but yet the brand new titan melee ability completely throws the mobility part of that out the window. Yes I’m pretty much complaining and saying it needs a buff, but I’m also aware of how it could be op in pvp if it was buffed.
Here’s my idea for a buff to it so it doesn’t feel so clunky and out of place with the rest of the subclass. Allow you to move at half speed while charging it. Super simple, nothing to complicate it. Move at half speed, don’t allow sprint of course, and no jump ability. Essentially what icefall mantle does to your movement, do that to thunderclap while charging it.
Anyone else think this would be a much better way to design it? I don’t think it would be problematic for pvp in that case, and it would be a lot less clunky feeling across the board, and would give it a really nice sidegrade to its power. What do you guys think?
