Only that interaction wouldn’t be healthy.
Bungie set things up the way that they did for a reason.
They want you to get to know the members of your clan well and interact with them on a personal basis, rather than treat it as a form of LFG.
We are designed so that we can interact with about 150 people on a personal basis. In groups larger than that relationship start to become transactional (what’s in it for me?) and impersonal (like on LFG sites). Which leads to a higher frequency of toxic interactions.
It’s why Bungie limits the size of clans, and that you can only be in one at a time.
Juggling multiple clans? Unless those clans were tiny, those interactions would transactional and impersonal.

Edited by DirtiestQBizzy: 9/5/2022 1:58:17 PMI played FFXI, FFXIV, WoW, etc, and you could have multiple linkshells/clans in all of them. You were limited though to how many you could have, and it works pretty seamlessly. It creates a situation where you have an abundance of buds to hang with at any time and can even occasionally "alliance". It also lets you still show youre allegiance to your priority. Don't sit here and act like every clan in destiny is 100% buddy buddy on a "personal basis" with everyone in their clan. A ton of clans have clicky little groups and we all deal with it and are ok with it. It's not sunshine and roses everywhere. All your points are bunk. If you were in 2 or 3 clans, I guarantee you you'd have like 5-10 people in each clan that you actually were personal with. Don't act like you're on a first name basis with 100 people in your current clan.

Edited by kellygreen45: 9/5/2022 2:38:39 AMThat has nothing to do with the point I made, or the science it’s based on. It’s 150 people. Regardless if it is in a single group or spread across several. Bungie wants their game to work with that number being in a single group because it keeps toxicity down within that group. Because it keeps the odds of toxic/transactional interactions down with people outside of that “group of buds”. Because it keeps that tribe within a single clan rather than smeared across several. Bungie can’t force you to interact personally with people in the clan. Or break up those cliques. But they can avoid enabling impersonal ones. Which is what they’re doing… and it’s not random or an accident.

I like that you know bungies inner workings and theories.

Easy. All you have to do is listen. They’ll tell you themselves why they do things. The issue is that many of you just disbelieve everything, rather than figuring out what to believe and what not to.

I had to disband my small clan just so we could get "Complete raid as clan" -triumphs. :/

Finding a good clan is difficult. I know…

Well, all raid members are now in single clan. Not really fan of the name myself, but oh well.
