SBMM in crucible is an awesome change

Just leaving a post, that bungie hopefully reads. Please keep SBMM in crucible. I absolutely hated crucible before this season. Constantly being stomped on by sweats. And now I can finally enjoy matches, where deaths feel fair. Please don't listen to the YouTube/Twitch destiny players. This is the one area they are completely wrong. The view they have towards SBMM is completely toxic in my opinion. The only reason they want non SBMM is to stomp on lesser skilled players. Which turns away the less skilled players from crucible. Which in turn is responsible for the hellhole crucible was. How is it not fair to be matched up against players of similar skill? If the players you are matching up against are sweatlords, then clearly you too are a sweatlord, and you should be in those matches. Once again, please keep SBMM, it is finally allowing for crucible to be open the other 99% of players.

  • A lot of the negative responses to your OP are arguing like this is a switch from pure CBMM to pure SBMM therefore all bad for above average PVP players... The point of the new loose SBMM is to arrive at a happy medium whereby below average & new lights aren't getting pub-stomped every match by toxic stacks, while above average are not sweating in every single game As latest TWAB shows, Bungie are trying to optimise towards a better MM balance. However, those with inflated stats gained from stomping lower level players in CBMM will have a period where their matches are very tough until they find their true level. Which is a shame (ROFL)...
