We aren't allowed to have them because the devs are afraid they'll be too powerful in pvp and heaven forbid those crybabies get upset

Ah yes. Autos are a true terror in PvP right now. Sorry but you can’t blame PvP for everything.

You know the weapons lead actually said this in an interview before this season started right? Literally said they do not want to even approach a meta that involved autos after the hard light deal a couple of years ago. Which is a shame because that was a fun season for crucible (minus Hardlight itself)

Yes, didn’t realize it was one of the leads just thought it was one of the devs. The point stands Bungie is not just going to stop making ARs because of PvP. They literally just handed us one this season. It just so happens there haven’t been ARs in the raids. It doesn’t go deeper than that.
That being said I actually really like the sandbox right now and think it’s nearly perfect when accounting for the amount of exotics but will agree. That meta(excluding hard light) was very fun. Feels like a long time ago…
Ammit is quite literally game changing.

I just want a cool model auto man

This. Omolon guns just aren't appealing to the eye, and they sound pathetic. Same with Veist. Bring out some more Hakke auto rifles, those things have a great sound and good kick, makes you feel like every round is doing something. Hell, bring out some more Hakke weapons in general. -

I think it’s called Song of Justice or something.
