First off you already failed the gun fight for challenging a sniper from mid to far range with anything but a sniper/liner rifle. Plus, you’re basically describing HCs in this post but they’re 10x more of an issue than snipers.

  • Does have a point. With most maps being mid to close range. HC are the go to weapon for almost everyone. Not 1 game I play there isn't a hc being used. They have the best aim assist, more flinch while also receiving less flinch. Bungie stated they are in a good spot and won't nerf them. But when a gun takes the thrown of the HC, the players will complain and whine that the meta is boring or unbalance. Now there are other weapons to compete against them but requires bit more skill and understanding of the weapon. But most of other weapons doesn't have the best aim assist.

    High impact pulses have less recoil, more range, very similar peekshot ability and flinch HARDER. They also have some of the fastest in game TTK. All other pulses flinch harder but don’t have that high impact damage output. They also do not punish your for missing. Damage perks are also better on pulses, HCs don’t really benefit from them. Downside of HCS? They have some of the slowest TTKs and kill you for missing against good players.

  • …and High impact/rapid fire pulses and high impact scouts are already on bungies hit list for light fall. They are going to get buried. See 600 rpm autos for reference, how dare they compete with hand cannons.

  • Awh someone is mad their meta is getting talked on 😂 zero recoil, can hit hard from mid to short range like a sniper, barely any flinching, curve bullets. It’s the easiest gun in the game to use because of those reasons.

  • I’ve use all three and HCs still dominate because of how good it is at peek shooting and how little to no recoil it has and it’s a 3 shot kill and I love smgs and pulse rifles. Smgs are great against kids who run snipe hc but if it’s hc/shotgun can’t get to close to them with smg.

  • You’re just wrong, and pulses have less recoil than HCs. No guns have recoil I’m this game, HCs are more skillful.

  • I’ve texted hitboxes, inside of 40m they’re the same as other long range weapons. The only difference is that they kill slower, flinch less and punish you more for missing. Again, pulses are easier. SMGS require little to no skill at all. I find myself taking off my HC to throw on messenger or funnel web. This is because those guns are easier and better. People who think HCs are supper easy don’t tend to be that good either.

  • Not really, if you look at my kill trackers I very obviously only use HCS unless I HAVE to take them off. The aiming skill from HCs has made me great with every other gun in the game. This is because 140s and 120s are more skillful and require the most shot placement. There is no spray against good players, miss a headshot and die.
