casuals: "heck yeah SBMM is awesome i can finally do something in my lobbies"
sweats: "alright alright alright now that the casuals got what they want,
we want loot that reflects the bracket we are in. haha idk maybe bring back the mountaintop or recluse, maybe even the redricks type of pinnacles XD"
casuals: "no no no, because i wont be able to get that"
sweats: "improve your gameplay, stats, and maybe you can get into my bracket one day"
casuals: "i want it now, give it to me"
sweats: "so you dont want to work for it?"
casuals: "no"
sweats: "alright enjoy no loot"

Edited by Nattor8299: 9/4/2022 8:18:40 AMNot to mention that most pvp players are already stacked out on enhancement prisms and shards. That isn’t worth the competitiveness that some players have to go through as well. “Oh no I got an enhancement prism for a 1/3 of an upgrade. Noice I’ll add that to my postmaster”

To take full advantage of each light power on all three characters I'm going to need a total of 50 or 60 masterworked armor pieces. Prisms will always be welcome
-
I have so many sets already masterworked it’s crazy. And I’m still maxed. So enhancement prisms are just like legendary shards until a new exotic comes out.

That's the trophy you're looking for. People that don't have time to dedicate their life to the game shouldn't be punished by not being able to enjoy every aspect of it. The call signs are for showing off not gear.

Edited by Nattor8299: 9/4/2022 8:30:56 AMI’ve been playing for years… so I’ve stacked up a lot of materials that some people don’t have which I know I may be in the few that do. But exclusive shaders or even emotes is nothing that would effect a casual player yet they complain as if it would. The mountain too and Lunas howl meta was horrible because they were OP and locked behind that skill wall, but the incentive was there for people to go out and get them.

-
I never said I was against SBMM, there’s just no loot incentive or incentive to play against sweats constantly. So they need to make one for the players that put in that time, that won’t affect the casual player.

-
Having those incentives also I think would decrease the amount of people leaving lobbies and tanking their stats to get into lower tier lobbies. Those incentives will keep those people going
-
Even in cbmm that hardly drop and isn’t worth ppls skill brackets i want weapons and high stat armor not something thats a guarantee drop in nightfall with the ghost mods on
-
Not to mention if you are truly good at crucible your greater core harvester would be giving you an enhancement prison every couple rounds which is worth several pieces of legendary gear.

When you look at the game as a whole crucible supposed to be practice for new lights it's the least important part of the game. If that's all you're going to focus on you don't deserve good rewards. Players that Master the Pve should always be rewarded over players who only worry about PVP. You guys can go play call of duty

Edited by Nattor8299: 9/4/2022 8:20:11 AMYou play master nightfalls for rewards? Nice 👍 you took this post too seriously. It was sarcasm about a convo that happened years ago. Not to mention iron banner and trials only come out so often so those rewards are unobtainable until then while nightfalls and grandmasters are open to play anytime. But as I stated below in another comment a true ranked mode for flex worthy gear would be nice. But casuals would have a field day because it’s something that they can’t obtain.

See I'd be fine with that as long as there is obtainable loot for others with just as good quality. Mountain top and recluse were good only negative about them were they got locked behind pvp content even tho they shined in pve. If bungie goes back to that style ok but there needs to be loot to match it for other areas.
-
Agreed but there has to be a prestigness to the higher tiers
-
Give a special emblem or shader buy not loot it never works with loot otherwise were back to square one.
-
Yeah or like an exotic ornament or something. Emotes as well. I’m not asking for like some OP weapon but a distinguishable emote or shader that people would love to have and grind to get. Heck make an ornament for a weapon that everyone uses or something
-
10/10 representation of how stupid sweats can be.
-
why because they ask to be rewarded for their skill?
-
Exactly. Asking to lock pinnacle rewards behind success in a casual playlist shows a hilarious misunderstanding of what a casual playlist is.
-
If its a casual play list then why have sbmm in it??? You silly goose
-
That's like asking why rec leagues separate participants into age groups.
Exactly. Asking to lock pinnacle rewards behind success in a casual playlist shows a hilarious misunderstanding of what a casual playlist is.
A "casual playlist" with tournament/competitive matchmaking. Congratulations, you played yourself.
