I have the same problem.
There are others that have the same problem that mainly have a 3080Ti.
I've done everything I have read on the net from clean installs to new hardware to trying all the NVIDIA driver versions available for the 3080Ti and there's no signs of overheating nor any overclocking happening.
Every other game I play (even more demanding in spec) do not have any type of crashing issues.
There hasn't been a thing on the net I haven't seen to try and nothing works, although different driver versions are better than others (mainly the Studio ones seem to be better than than GameReady ones).
Someone with a similar problem reached out to NVIDIA directly and they said it's an optimisation issue with the game and they can't do anything about it. After 8 days of trying to debug and gather information and conclusions, I have to agree with this.
I have yet to read anything from Bungie addressing this issue.

So you're saying all of us with 3080 ti's are just screwed.... how annoying.... Well If you find anything that somehow works please share but so far I have yet to find a permanent fix.

Edited by Leeway: 9/3/2022 6:58:15 AMI don't know if everyone who owns one has this issue, although the majority of users that have this problem own that card. Believe me man I've tried everything from buying new ram, a PSU to two clean installs of windows, using debug mode, windowed, etc, etc, etc, etc and there's no fix other than Bungie resolving this with their game. Spent a good part of 8 days trying to work it out and I'm not buying a new GPU to resolve it. There's nothing wrong with mine.
