I think Mara is hoping Crow will kill him.
I also think Crow won’t do it because he’ll remember the lesson Salad taught him about impulsive decisions.

I don’t think so. Salad warned him against impulsive and irresponsible decisions; keeping the peace with their allies is more important than revenge for his own treatment (which is ultimately what Mara wants to kill Spider for). Now, if Crow took a step back, realised he’s the cause of the present situation, he’d show amazing character growth in letting it go: he and Glint are fine, they’re safe now despite Spider’s actions so there’s no need to kill Spider. Ultimately it depends on how clever Bungo wants to be with the writing.
