I actually don't notice much of a difference between cbmm and sbmm. I do well, do average and get stomped in both arenas. I also have a 51% win percentage over 4600+ games played. Seems balanced to me.
I think it makes sense to have cbmm when the population is low and sbmm when the population is larger.

It’s easier to balance teams with SBMM so there should be fewer lopsided matches. That said, if it doesn’t bother you that much, there’s no need to really worry about it either way. Just have fun 👍
I think it makes sense to have cbmm when the population is low and sbmm when the population is larger.
Yeah, low population makes SBMM more difficult.

Edited by Sweet Lew 88: 9/3/2022 3:59:50 PMWhy would sbmm mean more/less stomping for me? It cant be like that. They can't make matches so that I always get 15 kills and a 1.2kd each game. There's too many variables to make each game the same.... Sbmm to me doesn't mean 12 people all the skill level. To me it means 12 semi random people, maybe similar skill but not same, game balances the teams so there equal to each other. That's what I've experienced. Sometimes I'm the best on both teams, usually I'm in the middle, sometimes I'm the worst on both teams

A wider range of skill is usually more difficult to balance into two evenly matched teams. I’m not saying all matches will be identical. I’m talking more generally about multiple matches. That sounds like loose SBMM to me. I doubt even strict SBMM could find all players exactly the same, every match.
