When I first started PvP I always ranked bottom, everyone was better than me. I put in hours to learn and practice and over time my game improved. There were still players better than me but I was able to rank ok the top half consistently. That system is fine imo.
From my perspective The only issue has been putting solos against stacks and lobby balancing.
I put in hours to learn and practice and over time my game improved.
Same here, but not everyone wants to play like that. If people want to play others around their skill level and not give two hoots about improving, that’s fine too. The question is, how can Bungie make playlists for different types of players?

That’s true. Everyone has every right to play the way they want so there is no right or wrong about preference over sbmm/cbmm. As a matter of fact in sbmm there are also players better or worse than you, since according to bungie sbmm selects players within a range of combat skill. The only difference in cbmm is that the “range” is much larger.

Agreed 👍 Some people learn better in SBMM because they have room to breathe and can make gradual improvements. Some people learn better in CBMM because there is extra motivation to improve.
