Could you remind me what the quest states you need to do? I know that you can obtain random Dreambane armor from Pit of Heresy, which is farmable this week. You may not have that unlocked either. I do know you can be brought into that dungeon by another person with access to it if you can't launch it yourself. The boss will drop a guaranteed piece of high stat armor, too.

Initially you obtain the Essence of Dispair shortly after starting the campaign, it is cleansed by doing public events and such. Following this you return to eris and she gives you a class armor piece (for my hunter, the dreambane cloak). The next step is to fight the nightmare of omnigul but you have to have the newly aquired dreambane armor to proceed in the mission. Without it, you are blocked by a fog wall in the beginning area. Hope that helps and thank you for the reply!

You might try talking to Eris again and see if she offers you the ability to purchase the class item again. If that doesn't work, try going to the Tower or HELM and interacting with the Quest Archive kiosk there. On the bottom right there's a section called "The Past", which will contain essence quests (if any). Barring that, if there are any other Nightmare quests available for you to do on the Moon, do those as they may provide you with other alternatives. The Pit of Heresy may still be your fastest solution as well. if you haven't unlocked it, see about LFG'ing the activity as there are many who are grinding that out right now due to the high stat armor, as well as the pinnacle reward at the end.

I will definitely give that a try and hope for the best. The advice is greatly appreciated!

A bit of advice if you go the Pit of Heresy route: If you are like me, and collected a full set of Dreambane gear from that dungeon before actually unlocking that gear through the essence quests, you can't skip them and complete Beyond. You still have to do the essence quests to unlock those pieces of gear first. I tried to break the rules, and Destiny said "Nope!".

That is good to know and is helpful in the event I get rid of the wrong armor! I will have a bit of leeway at least for infusing and such. Thank you again!
