Yup 100 %. This casual pve looter shooter does not need SBMM for its only CASUAL quickplay gamemode.
There's survival, elim, iron banner and trials already for the sweat matches. Why Bungie needed to infest their only casual playlist with SBMM is beyond me. Completely out of touch. They just make no sense at all. Why do they keep listening to minorities?
They listen to streamers 24/7 for the hardcore portion and to the absolute newbies for everything else. The majority of the playerbase is always left out.

SBMM was a necessary addition to Crucible. 11% more players are playing, and more time is being spent playing. Anyone who is interested in Crucible should be happy with that. More time in Crucible = more maps, loot, game modes, etc. Also, it's not fair for a top 500 player to play a bottom 1000 player. It's boring for the top 500, and the bottom 1000 player has no chance to do anything fun. That's a lose-lose. Heck, even a top 500 against a middling player isn't really that great.
Why Bungie needed to infest their only casual playlist with SBMM is beyond me.
Because sweats don't play it casually.

The game stop being casual the minute Comp and Trials were created for the game. If Bungie switches back to CBMM, it would be a foolish move.

Edited by OpticBrute9: 9/2/2022 10:55:15 PMdefine a sweat. and define a casual

I don't call people casuals, because it's stupid, but the simplest definition of a sweat I can come up with is someone that prioritizes winning at all costs.
-
that's fair but someone that prioritizes winning at all cost doesn't include the kd farmers unfortunately but at least you gave an answer unlike legit everyone else lol.
-
I don't see how someone could KD farm without winning, unless they're not good at it lol

If you leave matches it doesn't affect your kd apparently? I think its something along those lines. So people would just leave if they realized they went negative. Also having a high KD at the end of the match doesn't correlate to winning at all in a lot of cases especially in control where you can just not play the objective and rack up a bunch of kills.
