All these SBMM appreciation posts are completely one-sided.
Rename your posts to "SBMM is an awesome change for NON pvp mains". For pvp players who are average or above, this change completely ruined the entire pvp experience.
And no, we don't need "noobs" to farm. We just don't want to participate in a meta slave championship every single casual quickplay round in this casual pve shooter.
In balanced and competitive games, i am all for sbmm aswell. In this CASUAL mess tho? Nah i aint trying to win a tournament in quickplay.

Plus can we talk about all the movement nerfs being removed. The whole reason they nerfed the slide and in air accuracy was because good players were too oppressive to bad players. Now that I’m fighting in scrims every match, can I have my movement back?

Go cry somewhere that cares, it’s getting old sweatlord virgin. 😂

The “(insert weapon here) is to weak to use or (insert weapon here) is to strong and I have to use it. This is all Matchmakings fault and definitely not the sandbox.” Being forced to run “meta” is a sandbox issue not a matchmaking issue. The fact most guns are not viable has nothing to do with match making. Destiny has had the same meta for the last 3 years, with only one or two seasons standing against the norm. Don’t like it? Let’s talk about sandbox changes that benefit everyone and brings a diverse weapon selection to the pvp experience vs crying about being forced to use the meta you were gonna run with or without sbmm.

You have no idea what pvp main means. That invalidated your whole post.

Can't a person be a pvp main and still be sub 1.0? I don't think you really know what main means.
-
If you mained a mode, you'd think one would improve at it to get past being a 1.00.
-
And that would be an uninformed conclusion. It was shown a while ago that the average KD in Destiny is actually below 1.0
If you mained a mode, you'd think one would improve at it to get past being a 1.00.
It’s an unequivocal fact that there is a skill ceiling for each individual. There is a point we’re you simply won’t get better. Some players that’s higher than others. This game doesn’t have actual tournaments but a good example is apex. There are ppl who play that game for a living. 8 hours a day minimum. But they still are not nor ever will be good enough to complete in ALGS or even make past masters. Another example. Assuming ur stats are accurate and you don’t cheat or stat farm you vs. aztecross, a player that’s got over 1,000 hours in pvp more than you. You would win. Throw in the fact that reflexes deteriorate over time, once you hit that age, there is no getting better, even if you didn’t reach your potential. If you cap out at 1.0 and your age catches up to you (for some that’s 25 others it’s 40) your even more screwed. Someone who practices music every day will not surpass Mozart who wrote his first piece at the age of 5 and preformed in front of 2 imperial courts. And wrote the overture for don giovanni the night before the premiere. So no, if one mained a mode you would not think they would improve to get past 1.0. That’s arrogance of natural talent.
