In search for help: Lost my progress

Hi everyone, I really really need help by someone. My english is not 100% so forgive me some weird tranlations. I already contacted the support with this but only a bot answer came back, really bottomlessly disappointed me not even getting help in any way from such a community near game. I try to explan my journey how it came to the problem as quick as possible: I started playing years ago at end of 2017. At that time I had played on an PS4, since I had no computer. I played for 1.5 year+ and then do to some personal changes had no time to play anymore. Next time I played was on PC on BattleNet and was able to take my progressions with me. I played for some weeks and lost track. After that I come over to steam after the game forced me to since it was not longer available at BattleNet and I was on Steam now. A few weeks ago a good friend of me ask if I wanted to start playing with him again and we did. Every thing was fine till that. Since I only own a PC now and will never go back to console and I am bored by seleccting the PC account on tools like light.gg I searched for a way to unlink my PS4 from my account. I followed a guide and deactivated a setting called crossplay (I dont play with anyone from console anymore only steam, so I thought I did not need it) and then unlinked my PS4 account. That worked, but now my progress is lost on my Steam game. Did I delete it? All I wanted was to get rid of the PS4 link, I don't own any PS anymore and the account is deleted soon too. Is there any way to get my progress back? Even the season pass I bought got resettet, not only that they want me to buy it again. Can someone help me or give my a contact mail from someone that can? It was really great comming back to the new season and I wanted to play with my friends this weekend, whats now not possible anymore. But playing everything again is no option too for me. Please help.

  • It sounds like your character progression was on your PS4 account, and when you deactivated Cross Save your original Steam characters (or lack of them) were returned. Cross Save is not account migration, so deactivating Cross Save and unlinking your PS4 account effectively removed your characters from your access. The only way to restore your characters at this time is to reactivate Cross Save with your PS4 account. You will need to wait out the 90-day lockout before you can do this. In the meantime, you can continue to play your PS4 characters on a PS4 or PS5.
