"I love sbmm"
Has played 5 games of control since the changes
This is another issue everyone who loves the changes doesn't play for more than a pinnacle so why should MM make a difference.

Oh, and top 10% smashed everyone three years straight, you think everyone just come back instantly?

Not everyone go to forums or read twab. When people realise that main crucible mode now playable, they will come back.

See that thing in the distance? It’s the point, mate

It’s been so long since SB was in 6v6 that it’ll take some time for people to find out, first of all, and to get back in the groove. Once everyone knows, and some time has passed, we’ll know more about any SBMM success in growing participation. In the meantime, it appears that Iron Banner will be CB, and then there’s Mayhem with CB. Having a single 6v6 game with SB shouldn’t be the end of the world for CB’ers.

SBMM has killed off most FPS games, Halo, CoD, debatably fortnite but the rest are kids/kid streamers. Iron Banners only comes 2 times a season now, Mayhem is no gunplay at all, that is what we want. because the gunplay is amazing, but the gameplay is in a pretty bad spot.

Even when only about 1500 players were playing Halo 3 PvP, you could still get more balanced games than Destiny 2’s CB games.

Myself and everyone on my friends list of older Halo players loved 6v6 in D1Y1. That was SB. Gradually, during D2, every 6v6 game had transitioned to CBMM, and myself and everyone on my friends list quit playing. Iron Banner was the last holdout for 6v6 SBMM, but the CB’ers had to have that one too. I finally quit buying anything Bungie three seasons ago because of CB. I got caught up with the seasons recently only because of SB’s return to 6v6. This is Bungie’s absolute last chance where I’m concerned.

im sorry to hear that, and i hope you guys still stayed in contact. but how SBMM usual happens in FPS games. is just 50/50 win loss, the loss lobby is straight torture. and in D1 SBMM wasn't in the game until Y2 or Y3? and the pvp in that game died out instantly. Special ammo nerfs helped out with it aswell. i was about 13 at the time. and was pretty garbage, but i enjoyed every single minute of it. whether i was getting stomped or not. what i think would've been better was if teams were more balanced out, currently my matches is just every player on my team gets 2kd while the enemy is either mercied or barely on the verge of mercying. and when it's my turn to lose, it's the exact opposite, except im the only one with 1-2kd. Winning and losing feels worthless combat feels pointless it's kinda exactly like CBMM but more laggy and constant stomps.

Edited by More Power: 9/3/2022 8:29:22 PMYou can easily tell if a game is SB or CB. In D1’s year one SB 6v6 games, the top scorer produced on average 20-30 kills. The bottom scorer got 8-10. Over 3 years of D1, I received quite a few “Best Around” medals, which meant I had the highest score on the field. I ended D1 with 60,000 kills and a 1.1-1.2 k/d account wide. I loved PvP. In D2’s CB 6v6 games, The top scorer could produce up to 100 defeats. I was most always at the bottom half of the losing team with very few defeats. I had never been spawn trapped before and I had never faced players I had no chance against. Now, that’s all I saw. I faced players with vastly higher stats and with weapons I could not acquire (I.e. Not Forgotten). It was abusive. I quit PvP entirely when Iron Banner, the last holdout for 6v6 SB, switched to CB.

yeah no disrespect, that's how i like crucible being. im by no means stomping anybody in CBMM. but it felt way more balanced then SBMM. every game has been a stack of some sort either my team or their team. i do get the frustration of not standing a chance. but what most of us want out of SBMM, is lobby balancing. going just off of SBMM is horrible, 2-4 minute queue times only to then everybody teleporting around on your screen. but i think imma hop off of forums, thank you for your perspective of the matter. hope you continue to enjoy crucible.
